Bread? I get asked everyday what is the best low carb bread, I have found several that are low in points, but somedays they are difficult to find. Some stores carry one brand, then the next week they don’t, or one store is out of this brand, and so on. However, we all know where an Aldi store happens to be located, and they carry “Fit & Active” 45 or 35 bread which is 45 calories or 35 calories per slice of bread. Thankspically, most wheat bread is around 60 calories per slice, or 2pt on the blue plan. The 45 bread is 1pt per slice, and the 35 bread even lower. There also is Sara @
jellyfish bread that some use, and there is another kind called 647 bread that some Walmart’s carry, but there again the bread lottery wagon usually never in my favor, and I get there when they have run out, or are out of stock. So I only go to Aldi, to get the 45 or 35 bread, because they are more dependable. The Fit, and Active brand usually carries lots of good products like reduced calorie rice cakes, flat bread, and traditional bread. Next I want to find sandwich buns that are low in points, but this is a step in the right direction.
