I make cookie dough with them. chick peas, peanut butter, a little honey and chocolate chips. SOOOOOOO good. It is only for the taste of raw dough, not to bake

Nothing happens to canned chick peas. So don’t worry about them spoiling! Make hummus with one can, open up two cans, drain and rinse, sauté 1-2 onions in olive oil, add a small can of tomato sauce, put the chick peas in, stir, add a bit of salt, pepper and some garlic powder. Stir, cover and let simmer about 20 minutes. Makes delicious side dish. Make 3 bean salad. One can chick peas, one can white beans and one can dk. red kidney beans, drained and rinsed. Put all in large bowl, slice one onion over them, add some salt, oregano, extra virgin olive oil and a bit of red wine vinegar. Stir well and you have a hearty bean salad! There’s lots more but no time! Enjoy!

Roast them but make sure you get them good and dry (use paper towels to blot them) they won’t crisp up if you don’t get them dry. I like to use cayenne, onion powder, garlic powder and salt.

Banana bread. Can garbanzo beans, 3 bananas, 3 eggs, tablespoon baking powder an Tb of cinnamon, half teaspoon salt. Bake 40 min at 400 degrees.
by (440 points)
@tadich do you blend the beans?
by (20.6k points)
I use blender or immersion blender for all ingredients. If feeling wild and crazy I add a few dark chocolate chips and insert them in batter after blending. Sometimes I bake in loaf pan, sometimes small units like cupcake size

You can google that question and come up with lots of ideas. You can also go to recipes in the WW app and enter chick peas and recipes will come up. You can also use the chick pea juice (Aquafaba) as an egg substitute. My sister went Whole Foods/ plant based and no longer eats eggs so the is a substitute we learned .

Chickpea peanut butter Chocolate chip cookies INGREDIENTS 1 Can Chickpeas, rinsed and drained 1/2 Cup Crunchy Peanut Butter 1/3 Cup Honey 1 Tsp Baking Powder LETS PUT IT ALL TOGETHER 1. Place all the ingredients into the bowl of a food processor or thermo cooker and process until smooth. They are very thick, I do not have a food processor, so I used my nutri-bullet and had to keep stopping it and push chickpeas down form the sides. You may need to scrape down the sides. 2. Place tablespoon sized amounts of the mix onto a lined baking tray. Place into a preheated 180 degree celcius oven on the bottom shelf and bake for 20 minutes or until lightly golden. My kids complained about the smell of the kitchen after I baked the cookies. I did think it was too bad! Lol Once cooked remove from the oven and allow to cool on the tray as they will still be a little soft to move. Store in the fridge in an air tight container for one week or place into zip lock bags and store in the freezer for up to one month. I loved them frozen! Makes 10-12 Enjoy!

Drain them and use the juice - research "aquafaba" - all sorts of recipes for use. I haven't tried it myself, but the recipes look amazing.

Pan fry with @jon56 or whatever. Season with garlic, onion and black pepper. Mix in curry. Eat it separately or put over rice
