I just switch from purple to blue yesterday lol! I’ve been on purple since Dec 1st and think I might be overdoing the carbs. Purple is easy as long as you don’t eat out. If you eat out it’s hard to stay within your dailies. I did enjoy having quinoa and brown rice and potatoes for zero though. My go to zero meal was salmon, shrimp or chicken with quinoa and roasted zucchini.

@alfy53 did you lose the weight or did the carbs hurt you lol

@monaghan I lost 10 lbs but I’ve been at a stand still for almost a month.

@accompany That’s smart but more work than I’m willing to do . I think blue might be a happy medium for me. I can still have my carbs I just have to be more careful about portions.

I’m blue. Been on purple for 2 days. Haven’t gotten used to it now. I ended up negative points on blue every single week. I was thinking because blue gave me too many points and I just went crazy, but now I think I’m just bad at ww because it’s been 2 days on purple and I’m already negative  I’m optimistic thought

@accompany I’m not the only one!

@accompany The Premier Protein shakes help me also and they are only 2 points even on purple. You can drink them plain or as a coffee creamer or ice coffee or freeze them some like an icy or use them as the base of a smoothie.

Brown rice, whole wheat spaghetti (not multigrain it has points) eggs and lots of fruits and veggies. I often have point left because the stuff I used to have to count is 0 points

What are the main differences in the plans?
by (3.4k points)
Purple has more zero point foods but less daily points. Green has less zero point foods but the most daily points, and blue is right in the middle. To me, those are the main differences.

I switched from green to blue

@verruca did the same last week, gained 2 pounds and switched back to green
by (1.5k points)
@dolichocephalic Zaremba I did green for about a month it didnt workout for me as it was the suggested plan for me but I didn't see the success that I did on blue. Each plan works differently for each individual
by (2.8k points)
@verruca I felt the same exact way as you. When I joined in January it matched me to Green but I wanted Blue because I did Freestyle in 2018 and lost 54 pounds. I clung to those results. I lost 7. 5 pounds in January (I did that the first week I started Freestyle in 2018). So I switched back to Blue and gained 2. 5 pounds. I am back to Green. Sometimes what worked before doesn't any longer. Hope it works better for you.

Breakfast: oatmeal with a banana and a tsp of almonds, eggs and toast, yogurt and berry parfait Lunch: sandwich and salad or cup of soup, baked potato with FF cottage cheese and salsa or low pt chili, salad with chicken breast meat, or tuna salad made with light mayo or yogurt Supper: chicken breast turned into most anything. Chili, taco meat, etc. Last night I had a quinoa and bean enchilada bake that was 4 pts for the serving (off of skinny taste website). We love pinto beans, greens, and homemade cornbread (only have to count the cornbread pts) Whole wheat pasta and a low pt sauce with lean meat makes a great meal (remember when I said turn chicken into anything? ) Those are a few of my purple go to meals.

I made 0 point chicken fajitas to eat over brown rice and 0 point chicken lo mein today for lunches this week. Chicken LoMein Cook chopped carrots, onion & peas in chicken broth with garlic salt and pepper. Add cooked chicken (I needed to use leftover) add 3 eggs to the edge of the pan and scramble. Toss in cooked whole grain spaghetti noodles with some more broth and as much soy sauce as you like. The more soy you use will add points but spread over the entire pan, it doesn’t amount to anything in my mind. Can also use a drained can of peas and carrots or frozen. Add a bag of actual stir fry veggies if you like the snap peas and broccoli. I like water chestnuts in mine which are 0 points but I didn’t have any.

Love the purple, I switched from blue to purple after the holidays and going in my 8th week on it. Meals are easier than you think the extra food choices are awesome. I love the fact I don't have to count a baked potato anymore. I always have on hand Salad/ coleslaw mix, sesame oil, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, oil and vinegar dressing, ground chicken, cheese, Flatout flat breads, chicken breasts, pork, whole wheat couscous, brown rice, eggs, fruit, veggies for salad, skim milk,
