I’ve been craving pot roast. I keep looking up recipes but I’m struggling to find the right kind of roast that would keep my meal relatively low in points (under 10 or so). What cut of meat do I want? What keeps making these pot roast recipes so high in points? Thanks!

Lean beef chuck pot roast trimmed of the fat. I think it’s like 3pts for 3oz

Unfortunately the best pot roasts are made with Chuck roast, which is high in fat. This is why they're so good. I have substituted a much leaner London Broil and used my crock pot.

My family really likes the roast that is offered by Schwanns. It is totally lean but am not sure of the points.

Top round is the meanest cut of beef. They are a great substitute for Chuck roasts. Same cut that a London broil comes from. ( married to a butcher lol)
