Track everything you eat. If you are really new to this, measure and weigh your food. You will be surprised what a portion really is. Use all your points most days. Don't worry about the extra weekly or activity. I only used them for a special occasion. But I do try to get my points in every day. You don't want to be too hungry. Some hunger is normal if you have been overeating a ton.

Balance out zero point foods with points, track, use weekly points if needed but in moderation, drink lots of water!
