Hey guys I need some tips! I started weight watchers a week and a half ago. I am keeping track of everything. I am not going over my points and yet I’m up 3lbs from before I started. I am getting very aggravated and I feel very defeated. What can I do? I did a week blue but found I was eating too many zero foods and I didn’t feel good so o switched to green on Sunday. Thanks in advance for all your help!

Give it time. Drink your water, watch your portion sizes and move as much as you can. The program works if you work it. Also read about the whoosh factor. Not scientific but makes sense of this crazy ride.

Take a minute, pick which plan will really work for you and then drink lots of water, don’t eat to late at night, track everything with in your daily amount. Try not to use weeklies. You should be good. Oh, and if you have some walking or something in you, do that . It will happen

@leprechaun Im on blue and it works. Not sure about the allergies but you can pick foods your not allergic to? and pre plan your meals so you know in advance what to make for what meal and how many points. It will work

@leprechaun do blue! You can eat food. bread, waffles (eggo), you can have bacon, fish is free, burgers, cheese, just scan with app to find points values in the store and pre plan. Doesn’t sound like the allergy diet can work if your allergic

I had the same issue. My 2nd week the scale went up and I was so frustrated because I had stayed on program and tracked every bite. But I hung in and stayed strong and the weight is coming off. 6 weeks and 14 pounds. I have found that the older I get the slower I lose. Just remember. If you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got.

I quit when they charge to free foods. I understand they have smart points back free does not work for me.

@bookrest But we need to keep in mind that they are just zero pointed foods. When we called them free we think we can eat as many as we want but that is not true. All pools have calories.

@bookrest I still do the old 29 points. Still works for me without all the confusion!

Sometimes if you start to eat differently all of a sudden, your body will think what the heck is going on? It will go into starvation mode and try to hold on to every calorie you intake. Give it a minute and let it adjust to see your not trying to starve and things will change. Hang on. It will be great!

I found that even if you eat with in your points you can still gain . It depends on what you are eating. Too much salt= water weight gain. Too many 0 point foods. = still gain. This program is a life style change. It does take a bit no matter what colour you are on to learn what works best for you.
