Plain is 5 points and 13 grams protein per cup. Greek (Fage) is 2 points and 23 grams protein per cup on green. That is why I choose Greek.

I prefer Greek for the consistency, and I think other people do as well. The added benefit is that we also use it for two ingredient dough.

Plain non-greek is not as nutritious, has less protein and has a higher sugar content.

The thickness of it makes it usable for so many different things. I use it in place of sour cream all the time and today I used it in place of mayonnaise when I made tuna salad!

Am I the only one that can’t stomach plain Greek yogurt? Ugh it’s soooo gross to me! I love sour cream, regular Greek yogurt but the Greek plain is horrible. I’ve even tried to put ranch seasoning in it to make a dip for veggies. Can’t do it
