You should never be at the point of feeling faint. You need to be eating more zero point foods if you do.

Have you tried having something like a 100 calorie bag of pretzels, or Skinny Pop popcorn or shelless pistachios for you to eat before you go home or maybe fruit like a banana. Or more than one of these if needed. Try not to walk in the door hungry.

Are you fasting or something during the day? Even still, if you're hydrated, you likely have plenty of energy reserves just in fat stores. Are you sure you're not ill? Could it be you THINK you're starving? If your body is used to being fed at that hour, you will have an actual physiological hunger response like Pavlov's dogs, but unless you haven't eaten in quite a long time or you have a medication or possibly dehydration issue, you should be fine. I find hunger comes in waves. It's mostly mind over matter. Try fasting and allow your body to get used to not being in a constant state of being fed. It'll change your life. Maybe not the answer you were looking for, but just something else to consider. I did and haven't looked back. Regardless, good luck on your journey.

ALWAYS! do food / snacks prep. If you do, you wont have this problem. I always have a big tray of roasted veggies in my fridge. Jell-o with a tbsp of cool whip. have fruit on hand as well. If you don't have ready snacks, you're just setting yourself up to over eat.
