Yup it’s cause of the juice form of lemons

I know some people disregard that WW rule and don’t count fruit in any form as points. So you do you! I highly doubt you’ll gain any weight by drinking one of these with your meal ‍♀️

@euterpe Luc Jackson idk. This is just what online support said when I asked.

Lemon juice is points

I believe I has something to do with the way the sugar from the juice is processed in your body versus eating a lemon (or other fruit lol because as much as I love lemons I don’t know if I could eat one haha)

There isn't any points in pure lemon juice, but maybe the kind they are using has some sugar?

I wondered the same thing. It must be whatever is in the lemon concentrate they use

I “heard” they changed the recipe and I see that a large lite lemonade there is 15 gms of sugar and 21 carbs and 80 calories.

Since you’re drinking the fruit and not eating it it adds point. It’s the same thing with smoothies because drinking foods makes you feel less full than you really are, so they add points to keep you from overeating/drinking

I would guess it could be the amount of Splenda they use. At some point enough is used it’s going to be a point. 3T of Splenda is. 1 point

It’s got to be the amount of Splenda used. Splenda does have points after a certain amount. And a large contains 15 grams of sugar. Also, those 80 calories are coming from somewhere.

@euterpe that’s what I’m thinking too!

It recently changed. Just a couple months back a large was 1pt.

I don’t drink them often, so I don’t count it. I also make my own juice (80/20 veg/fruit) and don’t count those (I drink one large mason jar a day for the micronutrients) It works for me! 95 lbs down! Do what works for you!

@traceable I agree with you. I honestly don’t think juiced fruit is going to hinder us. We didn’t become overweight by fresh juiced fruit!

Buy the crystal light packs that you can add to a glass of water when you go out.

Well that’s supper disappointing, I’m down -78lbs and never ever count fruit or veggie no matter how they’re prepared. I’d say give it a big fat zero ‍♀️
