I have a stupid question  why is it that fruit is 0 points but if I get a fruit cup (say Chick-fil-A for instance) that it is 3-4 points? The fruit isn’t in syrup or anything sugary! I’m confused lol

I believe it’s the mandarin oranges that have points, they taste like they the ones from the fruit cups at the store

I got a fruit cup from CFA and logged it and it was 1pt for any size. Not sure why though because if logged individually everything is 0pts.

It is 0 points. They say to NOT track 0 point foods. Just know it's 0 and move on, don't put it in the app.

@joshia4909 you should track it, just don’t scan it. But enter it in as a 0 point food.

@joshia4909 fruit from chick fil a is not 0 Pooh TJ’s though. The oranges have added sugar in them (canned oranges)

I track all the foods, including zero pt food. All have calories. Makes me feel good to see the good choices I made. There are lots of inconsistencies in assigning points to the food. I bet all the points assigned to restaurant food comes from info provided by the restaurant company. WW nutritionists did run data in all those restaurant food lists.

Mandarin oranges are canned in syrup not juice so it comes up as 1 point.

Chick fil a fruit is not 0 sp because of the added sugar in the oranges. Ask for no oranges and it should be 0.

I pull the oranges out and give them to my toddler and then count the fruit cup as zero.

Is it fresh fruit that has only been sliced that isn't sitting in any liquid at all? They might keep it in either juice or syrup that you don't notice. I would just take the point.

If it is pure fruit with nothing added it is 0SP.
