When you track your exercise does the points add to the points you can eat? Why do you get points when working out? Are you supposed to get a certain amount of points a day of exercise?

The fitpoints you earn can be eaten but many people use them as a buffer. I believe the default on the app is 30 Fitpoints. You can tailor that to your own activity level. I have changed mine to 75.

I try to stay within my daily points and not use my weekly or fitpoints.

I do not use my activities points. Some will use them before using weeklies. You get certain points for certain activities & if it’s low, medium, or high impact. Example: regular walking not as many points as power walking-heavy breathing or even running. If you use all your weeklies then you can use your activities points. You can change in your settings which ones you would like to use first.

You get fitpoints as you need more fuel to work out. I rarely use weeklies but have it set to use them before fitpoints. I set mine to 70

It is one of the more personal choices. You can choose to eat your fit points before or after Weeklies or not at all. As you can see, some are against eating them. Many others lose best when they eat all their points. Experiment to see what works best for your unique body.

You can eat a percentage of your fit points. It encourages people to workout. Some people eat them, some dont. People doing hard workouts may need the fuel. It depends on person.
