I told my leader that I eat 1 five days a week and she said that was too many. Maybe a half of one or one every other day. Too bad because I still eat 1 five days a week!

I eat three a day. It satisfies my craving for sweets. As long as the scale goes down and my blood sugar is good I don't worry about it.

UPDATE: I didn’t mean to create the big banana debate. I did mention in my original post our nutritionist removed banana from our diet because of the sugar content. My husband and I are boarder line diabetics like many who are overweight soooooo for us bananas have been replaced with other fruits that have less sugar. I didn’t say we didn’t lose while eating bananas, or that they are not nutritious, or that bananas are an overall bad food choice. I did say that just because they are zero points you should use caution not to consume tooooo many regardless of having any health conditions or not.

YESSSS, exactly @accompany! We are all in this together

No one gets fat from bananas
by (2.5k points)
@sorbian8 that comment is very ignorant and I hate when people say it. Did you know that the military has people that are very under weight eat large amounts of bananas to gain weight?
by (1.2k points)
@nadabb really, is it ignorant? Do they only eat bananas? Is it not part of a high calorific plan? What are your qualifications may I ask?

The military have people that are very under weight eat bananas to fatten them up. So I’d say no more than one or two bananas a day.

I cut up just a 1/2 in my oatmeal. Technically 1/2 is 15 carbs which is one starch.

The USDA recommends 2 cups of fruit per day or 2 bananas. Bananas have 27 gms of carbs each and 105 calories each. You need to remember that zero points does not mean zero calories. That being said, my belief is that you should have 1 banana per day and a cup of some other fruit(s) to get different nutrients. Different fruits have different benefits. You should take advantage of them all.

I eat 2-3 a day and I’ve lost 100 lbs. Don’t overthink weight loss, just eat what you like, but just don’t Eat until you’re stuffed.

Any more than one is too much. Bananas, watermelon, pineapple, grapes are all high calorie fruits.
by (12.5k points)
@athanasia68 I eat fruit salad 1 cup at a time and count it as 1SP even though it could be zero.

Well my answer would be to ask yourself these 2 questions: 1 are you diabetic & 2 are you still losing weight of 1-2lbs per week.

How can watermelon be high in calories. i eat it every day in the summer its packed full of water . Someone explain it to me please
by (130 points)
@sicilia @pember18142 Larson lol watermelon is not high in calories
by (330 points)
According to another WW member it is. lmao. I know it isnt high in calories I was being sarcastic. lolol
by (12.5k points)
@sicilia @pember18142 Larson I went to a nutritionist and she took me off those and I finally hit goal. I did mistakenly put high calorie instead of high sugar and I have corrected it.
