Hi I am new to this group. I struggle with emotional eating. I overeat when I am upset. Does anybody else do this?

Yes I struggle with it extremely but I've noticed as I've been on the program a few months when I go to eat excessively I kind of stopped you'll get there

I try to divert my attention to something else. crafts, a walk, sleep. i have the problem that i eat when i’m upset, bored, when we celebrate something, commiserate over something. food is my go to for every reason!

Yes I too am an emotional eater. One key thing is to not buy any food that is not WW friendly. If the bad foods are not in the house, I will probably not emotionally eat to soothe myself. Keep the stuff out of the house.
