I am a ranch and bbq fanatic. Actually, let me be real I’m a sauce fanatic  I have a major problem with not being able to eat things bland, like anything. meat, veggies, carbs, you name it I dip it lol. I hate ketchup which seems to be what everyone’s recommended for me as a lower calorie sauce. I’ve tried the skinny girl ranch and it tasted almost sour to me (could be because I’m so used to full fat locally made ranch lol). Any other substitutions for sauces y’all know of that actually taste like a dipping sauce and not a watered down salad dressing? Especially ranch and bbq!

This ranch seasoning is yummy sprinkled on Salad. If you really like your favourite Ranch & BBQ use them just extend them. You can add water, milk or yoghurt to your Ranch and to your BBQ add water or maybe a little vinegar & ketchup so you can keep the flavour you love.

I'm a dipper too and don't like ketchup  I like the bolthouse cilantro avocado but not crazy about the ranch. I love real ranch, . I've tried the G Hughes honey mustard was a no go but their bbq sauce is great. I'm going to try to make ranch with some of the posted recipes.

I make hidden valley ranch with the mix, low fat buttermilk, and low fat mayo. It has points but a lot less that the full fat versions and is fabulous

Look for Bolthouse dressings (salsa ranch, ranch, cucumber ranch) in the refrigerated section near the salads. Either 1 or 2 pts for 2 Tbsp and they are delicious.

@caylacaylor2 I couldn't agree more. I love their dressings and they encourage me to eat salads

@lauryn and they are not filled with crap and chemicals.

I use the skinny girl ranch, sometimes though I will mix 1 TSP of regular in it. The point is worth it.

GHughs makes great sauces, the BBQ sauce is great. I hate greek yogurt and I see alot of people using that to make dips. I tried and just couldn't stomach the taste, so I bought some plain FF yogurt and made ranch and french onion dips with that, wasn't bad. Also, I bought the skinny girl poppyseed dressing, which was still a bit bitter so I added a few drops of monkfruit liquid sweetener to that and it was a gamechanger.

Make your own ranch dip with yogurt. Just Greek yogurt and a ranch dressing seasoning packet is pretty darn good with veggies. Then it out with cashew or almond milk to use as a dressing versus a dip. Look up dips under recipes in the app. There’s some good one’s out there.

WW App has dressing recipes - 2 I believe. As for BBQ, if you can’t find low fat - you can look for a recipe to make your own or just use the points on the real stuff

If you make your own ranch with the seasoning, low fat mayo and fat free milk it is so much better than bottled and much lower in points than the original.

Thank you so much to everyone that has helped! Reading through all the comments I think I’m going to try to make my own ranch and try the clearly popular G Hughes BBQ sauce!

I've used ff Greek yogurt as a base & add seasonings to my taste. Powdered Ranch for dip or dressing. Herbs, garlic & onion powder for mock French onion dip. Thin it with some water & drizzle as an onion sauce on steamed veggies or potatoes instead of butter & sc.

I love Trader Joe’s spicy peanut dressing. I put it on their chicken chili lime burgers. Yum!

@fiducial I WISH I had a Trader Joe’s near me  we literally only have Kroger, Walmart, Sam’s Club or BJ’s wholesale. A Trader Joe’s and a Costco would be fabulous

I take 1 tbs of my favorite full fat version and then mix it with 1 or 2 tbs of the skinny ranch and that works for me.
