You'll want to keep going on it because it helps with maintaining also.

Each person is different. Sometimes, the closer you are to goal, the more difficult it may be. Take it one day at a time and reassess.

I wanted to lose 10. Took 10 weeks. Some weeks . 2 loss, some weeks 1. 8 loss. Amazes me that it averaged to 1 lb per week which is supposed to be good for you. Stick to the plan and you’ll get there.

Maintenance is 6 weeks. so that would give you time to lose the weight and then the maintenance.

Depends on how much you weigh to start. If it’s just 10 pounds to goal it could take longer, but you may get lucky!

I did the same. 3 month membership to lose 10lbs. Im just finishing up the first month. with a 3. 5lb loss *sigh*

Bodies are unique complex machines and respond to this journey at their own pace. If 3 months isn’t enough, just extend it

Possible but statistics are on the side of gaining it back if you don’t follow the program. You don’t have to stay a member but should continue eating the way WW taught you.

Are you having trouble?

@compendium my last ten lbs were slow. But just keep at it. I guess slew means hard this is going to sound so “silly” but if you follow the program and try and do whatever exercise works for you it will work! Good luck

If you have less to lose it will take a lot longer. I joined January 1st at 150 and 142 now with an 8 lbs loss over 2 months. I’m stalling now and thinking I have to up my exercise.

I joined (for the 10th time lol) July 5 and I am down 20 lbs as of today, it has taken me a longer time as I've gotten older and also not as much to lose. I'd like to lose another 10 for Lifetime! :)

@cleopatracleopatre good for you! I joined WW many times in the past too but I kept dropping out when it seemed like it wasn’t going to work and finally realized it can happen but it will take time but if I keep dropping out I will never get there.

@moulder81323 yes me too. But I did have a mental shift. I've never felt this good about the plan!

It’s fine. It if you don’t you can go on monthly.

It is doable! I did it with no exercise & I’m 63. Not only that, keep going until you make Lifetime. It’s SO worth it. Good luck.

Like many others are saying, everyone's weight loss time varies. If you do get to goal before the 3 months, (so you become a Lifetimer) I'm pretty sure you can call customer service and they'll reimburse you the difference. That's what happened with me but I reached goal several years ago, maybe the rules have changed.

You have to get to your goal weight and then maintain for 6 weeks before becoming lifetime so you probably will be attending meetings for more than 3 months. Just take it one day at a time. It’s a way of life so there is no timetable. Good luck on your journey.

@mullite you can also get a dr’s note if you/they feel that the WW goal weights are too low. Dr overrules WW

You can lose 10 in 3 months if you stick to it and your body is up for it but learning to maintain your loss is the key

I only needed to lose 15 lbs and I did it in 9 weeks. I’m 63. I stayed on the program a couple more months and lost another 10 lbs! No exercising either. I was pretty determined. I think a huge part of weight loss is your mindset. Good luck!
