Been gaining and losing the same 5 lbs for months now and I think it’s because of water intake but I’m cold all the time so my go to has always been coffee with a splash of almond milk so about 1 cup a day and the stevia or sugar free flavoring. but it has defiantly cut back my water intake. trying tea this week it’s an herbal non caffeine one so it’s like water right?

Herbal tea is a good idea if you don't like water, or if your cold. It's hard to start to drink alot of water, I treated myself to a cute drink bottle to always have water with me and I bought a pretty insulated cup with a straw that I sip away at. I drink way more water out of cute containers

Yes, tea is fine as a 'water' intake. Especially with no milk/sugar added which you wouldn't do with herbal teas.

A lot of things count towards your daily water intake, Web MD states: “Juices and sports drinks are also hydrating -- you can lower the sugar content by diluting them with water. Coffee and tea also count in your tally. Many used to believe that they were dehydrating, but that myth has been debunked. The diuretic effect does not offset hydration. ”

I used to drink hot green tea years ago and it seemed to help me lose weight! I need to start drinking it again!

@nickname4 I think there is more caffeine in green tea, not sure.

@soften100 I buy uncaffeinated. Wal-Mart sells both kinds.

@nickname4 oh duh, I keep thinking EVERYTHING regular. sorry

@soften100 green tea has very little caffeine. Less than black tea and way less than coffee.

If you feel cold all the time whether you are indoors or out I suggest you have your thyroid checked. It helps control your body temp. Plus has an effect on weight.

I would not expect a cup of almond milk to significantly impact weight loss unless it were actually an almond milk creamer which is much higher SP

In the winter I drink hot water. I know it sounds odd but it really works

1 cup plain unsweetened almond milk is only 1 point for a cup. On Blue.

All liquids count! Even water soluble fruits and veg with high water content helps.

Might seem weird, but in the winter I drink hot water, just cool enough to drink with a silicone straw and not burn my mouth (I tend to drink more water when I use a straw) I drink between 62 and 94 ounces a day in addition to my morning coffee.

Just a thought but I spent the last 2 yrs on blue doing the same 5 lbs. switched back to green and losing again. Our coach Sadie say for every cup of coffee you need to add an extra glass of water. I drink about 3/4 cups day.
