What do you consider a cheat day. not a 24 hour buffet.

@heterocyclic405 For me I have a cheat night or also known as date night. I have a few cocktails and some snacks that I would not normally eat. I do track the points in those snacks. I am very careful for 6 full days and carry over some unused points so on the 7th day of the week I have an extra 20 to 25 points to enjoy. It worked well for me. In less than a year I lost 83 pounds.

@ariminum385 good I lost 145, the last 40 with WW, but have maintained it w/out WW. They keep changing the plans. I was on the PP plan and it worked great. I was told that being on that plan was unacceptable, so I quit. What works for one, may not work for all. reached goal!

@heterocyclic405 I'm sorry somebody told you that was unacceptable. That is horrible advice. Congratulations on your success! I started with freestyle and that is equivalent to the blue plan. I have been maintaining with the blue plan ever since. I am 100% online and cannot attend meetings therefore I will never be eligible to achieve lifetime.

Every Fri ( my weigh in day is a cheat day ) ! I’m a lifetimer so it works for me . I try to weigh in at least 3 out of 4 weeks a month ! Meetings are good ! I know what is real bad ! Don’t do it !

@amphipod I am. I had the flu for like 10 days and it was so bad. I just couldn't even think about what I was eating. I'm going to the store tomorrow to stock up on my ww food. Thanks for the encouraging words. It's good to have these groups!

When I call it a cheat day it makes me feel like I’m doing something wrong. I plan for a special day in advance. And enjoy it.

I use my weeklies on the weekends to have some higher point things or drinks. it’s built in to the program so I don’t have to cheat.

I call it a cheat day, even though I track it and calculate the points. but YES, a cheat day is actually recommended! It's a great way to jump start that metabolism and let your body think it's not on a diet. Call it what YOU want, but I call it a cheat day and it does work.
