I get so discouraged when I see members posting here and on the app when they say they’ve only lost 10 lbs this month or something similar. It’s the only that’s killing me. I’m sitting here at 9. 4 pounds in three months. Now that first month was completely my fault. I’m pretty inconsistent, but I try my best to follow the plan. I’m trying to eat more fruit and veg. I’m eating less cheese and sweets. I’m on blue. I always track even if I fall off the wagon. Is blue the best plan for me really?

9. 4 lbs is a lot of weight! You're doing great.

Take your measurements so you have a different “scale” to judge by.

Alot of that also depends on your starting weight. The heavier you are the more you lose in the beginning. I'm sitting at 10lbs lost since Jan and I'm thrilled.

You can't compare yourself with someone about whom you know nothing. If they have 100+ pounds to lose, they will have months when they will possibly lose 15 pounds, thus the "only" 10#. If you have 20# to lose, you aren't going to lose 15# in a month. In 3 months, I have lost 12# and am proud of it. I'm 12# lighter than I was Thanksgiving. I'll take that!

A lot of your rate of loss is gonna have to do with how much you need to lose too. There are so many variables! IMO, you should be very proud of yourself for losing almost 10 lbs! That’s great! You are headed in the right direction!

I agree ☝. I did okay on blue but kept losing the same two pounds. I switched to green ans started tracking portions of the previously free foods and found my portions were off. Im doing way better on Green!

@selfforgetful24 I’m slow loser too but I understand how happy it makes them to post I probably would too

I forgot to mention that you also have to look at starting weight and end goal also. I want to lose 30lbs. I would be excited about 9lbs but I’m sure it is not that great for someone that say wants to loss 100lbs. It’s all perspective!

I have been on blue since August, lost 32 pounds. Totally my fault it hasn't been more. I built my meals around 0 point foods, incorporate good carbs with each meal.

Anyone who is upset because they only lost 10 pounds in a month, should be happy! That is a good weight loss.

I am a slow loser . I just have to be satisfied with whatever weigh loss I have and focus on the process - doing what I should - and think of it as long term. We should try to also be happy for those who lose more than we do. Encourage each other . Not only those who lose the same way we do.

@microsecond Very kind of you. My dad would call you a dear heart

I am thinking I should have my thyroid checked because I can go for months tracking and doing what I am supposed to and not lose anything. When I was losing it was typically only about half a pound a week. If I eat any less it is not healthy.

@microsecond I’m a slow loser as well. My sister says I’m too hard on myself.

@selfforgetful24 I think there is a learning curve people have to go through to know what to expect with weight loss. It's different for everyone and we can tend to be impatient with whatever progress we are making.

I keep a weekly food diary. When I have a loss, I look back over the previous weeks foods and try to mirror and incorporated those foods that helped me with that loss. Be truthful.

It took me 5 months to break the 10lb mark . do what works for you and your life and it will all work out in the wash.

I think of it like people get greedy with weight loss. They aren’t grateful for what they have lost and they just want more and more. Honestly I think that works against them in the end. They power through, lose a TON of weight and then gain it back. Slow and steady is the way to go. Weight loss isn’t just about the number on the scale. It’s about your mind. Without a healthy mind you canNOT have a healthy body. Don’t compare your journey with others! You’re doing amazing! Feel PROUD you lost 9. 4 lbs! That is amazing ❤️❤️❤️

I know. 10 pounds in 1 month is HUGE. Need a reality check.

They may have a lot more to lose then you. That makes a big difference. Also sweets and cheese are high pt foods. Try to find something else to satisfy you so you can maybe cut back some

I lost, at the most, 2 pounds a month. I celebrated ever ounce and didn’t compare myself to anyone else. My body is different from anyone else’s. I am 73 and exercise for 30 minutes 5 days a week.

I switched from blue to green. I was not good at the zero point foods mainly eggs and yogurt. Anyway I switched to be more accountable to every piece of food in my mouth. I am at LT but I have lost 1 lb per week
