Is 27 points a normal goal? Too high? Too low? Just right?

Depends on your height, age, gender, current starting weight and activity. My husband and daughter are both 6 ft and started around 300 lbs. They started with 40 something points and are now down to the mid 30s. I on the other hand am 5'1 and started with 25 points and was around 190 when I started. I'm currently still only 5'1 and am down to 144 and have 23 points on blue plan which is the lowest it will go according to the WW coach. Different minimum for each colored plan.

Additionally, I wonder what these points equate to calorie wise? Anybody do my fitness pal tracking too?
by (3k points)
@global88705 That depends on your zero point intake. Back in the old days 1sp = 70 calories but now it's much more complex, using fat, sugars, artificial ingredients (hence ff plain yogurt 0, ff flavoured yogurt, 2sp). I have put my food into my Fitbit out of interest a few times and it's usually between 1000 and 1400 calories including the zero foods x

It depends on what plan you are on. My guess is you are wondering so you don't have to pay for a subscription haha.
by (1.3k points)
@transcontinental Nope, I’m wondering because I’m not losing squat. Lol.

@global88705 on purple it would be too high, blue probably just right and green too low. I get 37 pts on green each day but strive to get a blue dot on the app everyday which is staying within healthy eating zone which is within 10 less then Target and not more then 8 over daily allowed points. I feel like since I started getting a blue dot everyday I lose more. For me personally I try not to use weeklies because I don't lose as well.

@global88705 if you are on blue, are you eating too many zero point foods? I like green because you count everything.

Your online app will assign your daily points. It all depends on your current weight and height.
by (1.3k points)
@divide I’ve been assigned 27 but I’m not losing.

@global88705 don't over do the free foods.

I get 27 a day. I'm 6'2 and right now am 201lbs. I've been down to 193 (damn christmas break got to me and I have catch up to do) at 193 I think I had 25 or 26 pts (blue plan)

On blue, 23 is the minimum and you get more if starting at a higher weight - they reduce as you lose weight. I started at 203lb on 23 daily. On green the minimum is 30 and on purple I think 16 and again it goes up if your starting weight is quite high.

You would need to sign up and follow the instructions to get your point allowance. As it depends on many factors including height weight how active you are and what plan you are on

I have 30 on Green, but you can stay between 25 and 35. I am finding that even if I stay within my points, carbs are preventing me from losing.

Ok so at 27 points what is a typical day for you? You may need to weight and measure your food if you aren't or you are over doing zero point foods
