So. for all those out of work or working from home.So. for all those out of work or working from home. now is the perfect time to create your dream morning routine! I am a teacher and my morning routine used to consist of waking up at 5:30, getting showered, dressed, and then heading out the door. I always wanted more time for self-care in the morning, but didn’t want to wake up at 4:00 AM to do it. ♀️ But, now that I’m working from home & I start work at 9:00- I thought. here’s my chance! ⭐️ Last night, I wrote a list of things I’d like to try working into my mornings & what I didn’t want. I didn’t want to use my phone, read the news, answer emails, watch TV, or surf my newsfeeds. I wanted to get some exercise and positivity in through a myriad of different ways. Here’s what my routine looked like today: ✔️Woke up at 6:00 AM ✔️Drank a glass of water ✔️Had some coffee ✔️Journaled for about 30 minutes ✔️Journaled 10 things I’m grateful for ✔️Worked out for 30 minutes ✔️Stretched w. a foam roller for 20 minutes ✔️Listened to a few positive blog posts ✔️Showered and did my affirmations ✔️Got dressed & did my hair & makeup ✔️Hugged my fiancé & dog ✔️Made a healthy breakfast I started getting ready to work at 8:30 AM and let me tell you. I felt positive & energized! Tomorrow, I’d like try some meditation or reading in the morning! So, if you have the time. try it out! Trust… It actually feels better than the extra sleep! There’s so many negative things happening in the world, but this can be one positive win! What are all your favorite parts of your morning routine? Looking for new ideas!
