Ok question is there actually a firming cream out there that works? Figured I'd get an honest answer here.

I’ve tried several things and my advice is not to waste your money on expensive stuff. A good quality moisturizing cream like CeraVe or Nivea gave me the same results as Strivectin Crepe Control and other expensive creams. The honest truth is, in my experience nothing will fix it, except surgery.

I don’t know about firming but my favorite product for my face is Josie Maren’s 100% Arian Oil you can find on QVC.

@mcdougall1 I just the face wash and night serum, with the tinted sunscreen. I love her products!

I use her MILK, morning and night , and have for about 4 years now. also the body butters after each shower. As for firming creams, my body is just too far gone at this point. I don't have much faith in them, anyway. Even if they made a TINY difference, for me, it wouldn't be worth the $$$

@swept I so agree, I know at my age (67) it’s too little, too late! ❤️

@chaparral I have found that there's two that I have been doing during this journey. I don't even know where I learned up but as I've lost weight I had about a triple chin and I have no double chin even anymore so I feel like the ones I did worked. What is you look at the ceiling and you do the vowels over-exaggerated example, when you do e u really smile hard when you say e and like when you do oh just really pucker up when you're looking at the ceiling. The other one I do is you put the your tongue on the roof of your mouth while looking at the ceiling and swallow with your tongue staying on the roof of your mouth. I do these about once or twice a day. I did them because I did not want all the loose skin on my neck and I feel like my neck looks pretty good.

Creams will moisturize but no cream is going to work miracles for tightening a lot.

My understanding is GLA, CLA & collagen powder helps with skin tightening if you get a high quality supplement. Not a cream, but probably more effective!

.. Besides, after losing 80+ pounds, my sagging skin is MAJOR and a crinkle here and a crinkle there isn't going to matter with all the overly stretched out skin that is now hanging on me. Part of me wants to do surgery and become LOVELY. however, I'm going to be 75 in less than a month, and it simply isn't worth "going under the knife" for anything that isn't life saving. Hopefully, SOMEDAY, I'll shed the last 35 pounds. Maybe I will and maybe I won't but no cream is going to help me. I'll stick with Josie Maren's MILK, 'cause my face is still smooth. The rest of me just has to . be.
