Ok, so I've been on WW since 2/2. I was down almost 20 lbs last week and now I'm up 2 lbs. Haven't done anything different, track my food and workout everyday so I don't know why I'm gaining. Is it possible my body is use to the green plan and I maybe need to switch to blue? Looking for any suggestions.

It’s very normal. There are weeks of losses, stalls and yes gains. Bodies are complex machines and can be fickle with the scale for many normal reasons. Most of the time we earn that number. Other times it’s inexplicable. Stick with the plan and your body will figure it out. Always remember that number is just one data point at a moment in time. It is not the full story

Looks like you’re doing everything right. Sometimes our body does strange things. Don’t change a thing for now! I would watch it for at least 6 weeks before you really become concerned.

Some weeks you just don’t lose. Some weeks you gain. I’ve only been on green since this plan started, but when I get stuck I change it up. So maybe blue would be good.

There are not always weekly results. The program works over time. You are doing well, so stay the course. Luck!

@turcotte do you eat and drink all day? Question answered! Everything you eat or drink weighs something!

It could just be water retention or you're a little bloated. You are doing amazing. I would not change.

Could be water or that you are gaining muscle

Have you been working out a little harder or doing something different? Are your muscles a little sore? Workouts can cause muscles to hold water to help them heal. This can show on the scale as a temporary gain, no loss or smaller than usual loss. It's temporary. If you ate a high carb or high sodium meal the night before, you can have a temporary water weight gain on the scale. I can eat a cup of pasta, and be up 3 pounds the next day. Medications, stress, hormones and many other factors can cause water retention also. I would give it another week and see what happens.

You may want to take your measurements and keep track of those too. Sometimes we don't see a loss on the scale but do see losses of inches

Yes I have been doubling my workouts because of the current situation. I was doing a 45-60 min workout now I'm doing 90 min. I haven't taken measurements at all but I am down, as of last week, 3 sizes.

Might not be anything. See what you weigh next week

You need to look at the overall picture. You’ve been on toughly 9/10 weeks. Avg WW loss is 1/2 to 2# per week - you’ve lost 2# a week

Probably nothing. One week I was up 1. 6# the next week I was down 3. 2#.

There will be weeks like that. It could also be you are gaining muscle or retaining water. I would keep with what you are doing. Good work!
