WW isn't about skipping meals. It's about building healthy eating habits for life. This is WW not some temporary STARVATION diet. If you're not hungry of course don't force yourself to eat. Following WW guidelines and staying persistent and consistent is what helps you achieve goal and Lifetime. ♀️

I agree with you. This isn't a starvation diet. It's healthy eating that can last a lifetime.

I agree that you shouldn’t eat when you’re not hungry. Listening to your body is key to health. NOT listening to your body is why so many people have issues. Our bodies are smart; they know what we need and what to do.

I do. If I’m not hungry, I don’t eat. As long as I use my points for the day (I’m do the points program from 2003. I think they’re called Flex Points)

Skipping meals can trick you body into “starvation-mode” . resulting in your metabolism slowing down. making it harder to lose the weight. Having said that I know many people are doing intermittent fasting.

I don’t think you should eat if you aren’t hungry. You shouldn’t deprive yourself, but if your body isn’t hungry, you don’t need any food at that time.

On occasion it’s okay! On a regular basis I don’t think it will help with your weight loss. I’ve lost over 150 pounds and I eat 3 meals and 2 snacks a day. I’m also not a fan of intermittent fasting.

I call those times. "My DELAY Meals" I don't "skip them. I kind of push them back as in reserve, because I don't know what my day will hold. Two things::::::: NEVER let yourself get overly hungry. that's a big flashing sign for throwing in the towel and just not caring . :::: Don't let part of your brain say. "Well, I didn't have breakfast, so I can have this yummy little item. " It plays with your mind and gives you permission (kind-of) for slipping into . not so healthy habits"

Never eat when your not hungry. Sometime way back when someone started making meal times called breakfast, lunch and dinner. That doesnt mean you should or that you have to eat on some timetable someone made. Eat when your hungry. I usually eat a couple meals a day and maybe a snack. Not if im not hungry.

Listen to your body! That is your best guide. If you're hungry eat. If you're not hungry, don't eat. Make sure you're eating enough to stay healthy. I had to learn not to eat by the "clock. " Meaning, just because it was lunch time or dinner time, didn't mean I had to eat if I wasn't hungry.

I have formed bad habits over the years. I now realize I no longer have what it takes to make good choices when it comes to eating. I know this b/c I am obese! This is my truth & because of that truth I look for help & that came with joining WW. So, I chose to always do the better thing & that is the program. It has helped me reset all things about eating & I am thankful for that. This is what I feel will get me to a better place. I am more than 1/2 way to goal. Best health!
