Good morning.  So, I am contemplating joining WW again.Good morning. So, I am contemplating joining WW again. Can those of you who have just done the digital package and not the all-inclusive give me some insight? Has it been successful, or do I need the coaching?

I am online only. There is an online coaching service too, it’s like an instant messenger. I love it. Hubby and I have been very successful. We have lost almost 100lbs together in 4 months.

@ester wow! That's awesome! Which color plan do you follow? I am buckling down Monday as I keep going up & down.
by (2.2k points)
@lorrainelorrayne101 I am on purple plan, and he is on blue plan  I really like purple because the potatoes are free and whole grains are less points.
by (350 points)
@ester that is the one I am on. I like that I dont have to keep up with alot of things as they are free. Lol Now to get myself focused! Can you share what a day of food might look like for you?
by (500 points)
WOW! So, the online only is the cheaper plan, right?
by (2.2k points)
@lorrainelorrayne101 for breaking fast I normally have a some eggs and a piece of toast (I eat whole wheat bread, the great value brand is only 1 points, and I use imperial vegetable spread instead of butter and that’s only 1 point for 1/2 tablespoon). Normally I will have a piece of fruit. My fave snacks are fruit, fiber one brownies, and boom chicka pop popcorn. Lunch is normally tuna fish (no bread), some fruit, and a veggie. Dinner is chicken, a veggie, and some form of potato!
by (2.2k points)
@grind yes it is the cheaper option! We live way out in the country and driving out to meeting isn’t really worth it for us.

I’m online only because I don’t want to go to meetings. I’ve lost 16 pounds in 6 weeks. The app offers everything I need to stay on track.

My husband and I have done online only twice now. It works, but we also have each other for accountability and support. We've lost a combined 35 lbs since beginning of February. We use the green plan (highest points allowed/lowest zero point foods). It works great!

So WW is strictly colors now, I don’t understand. I have been looking to start it but am slightly confused
by (840 points)
@shah44 you take a brief survey and it suggests a color for you. They differ in how many points your allowed per day and what foods are considered 0 points.
by (1k points)
Can you take the survey with out signing up lol
by (310 points)
@shah44 unfortunately not
by (4k points)
Be honest about how you eat. you have to give up sugar, but you can eat grapes, oranges, kiwis. strawberries or blueberries on oatmeal. I chose the green plan. fruits, vegetables, eggs, chicken, tuna, salmon, some beef cuts are zero points. Wow its soooo easy. Barcode scan for bread, pasta, rice, cheese, sauces, etc

@distress awesome thank you everyone for their tips

Hi. I just joined this week after speaking with my sister who is having a lot of success on WW. I was really hesitant at first tho, because I was confused how it works now. but it’s super easy! I’m only doing the basic package (I don’t really need to meet with people or groups for the motivation), but I love the app and how simple it is to track everything. I’m on the purple plan, and since 90% of the foods I already eat are on the free list, all I had to do was make a decision to cut out the soda and fast food, which was my lunchtime weakness. With a little planning, it’s been easy to have food ready for lunch. I also spent about 30 minutes and looked up everything I eat or cook with (shocked me to see avocado oil points), and then I use the barcode scanner on the app. I’ve now scanned everything with a code in my house, lol. I wish you success!

I am only digital and have lost 34 lbs since January 13th. I have had a few cheat weekends but have stayed the course for the most part. Other than a few walks I have not exercised at all. I do track diligently and try hard. I do not snack during the day either. The best advise is to find substitutes for your favorite foods. You can do it take the plunge! I don’t regret it and love it!

As long as I track it works. When I think I know what points I’m eating I gain.

Honestly it depends on you. I tried online only before and it didn't work for me. I have since figured out I do better with actual meetings. Some can do online.

Read the contract carefully. I thought I was getting 30 days free and that I can cancel at anytime.
by (950 points)
@schoolteacher62 same here! I tried to cancel last night and it was going to charge me a $49 fee.
by (840 points)
@schoolteacher62 call the WW number. Maybe they can help.

I started as online only. I’m blue, it was only plan when I started, it worked so I stayed with it. I lost with just online, but added meetings once I knew I wanted to go for LIFETIME. You need to lose you last 5 pds to goal at a meeting, and maintain for 6 weeks at meetings to become LIFETIME. I lost 80pds and made LIFETIME all in 6 months.
