Do you recommend the Yonanas machine? How is everyone making banana ice cream? My Cuisinart stick blender cannot handle those frozen banana chunks!
Do you recommend the Yonanas machine?

Love my Yonanas machine! We add frozen strawberries often but have tried many recipes. Much faster and easier than a blender. But be aware that bananas, even though they are zero points are high in calories for fruit.

@honeyman also have carbs!

@incoordination76416 Yes, if you are watching your carbs that would also be a factor.

@honeyman blended fruit also counts as points

@bawdyhouse39348 not if you eat it with a spoon. Only if you drink it.

I use a regular food processor. A bit loud & shaky at first but comes out smooth & amazing! I used frozen bananas, Greek yogurt, and frozen raspberries

I use a small food chopper with two speeds and it works great and not expensive at all.

I have the yonanas and it is great , the trick is to leave for two minutes before you start putting through the machine, it’s a bit easier

@phytography26860 . I always keep frozen bananas in the freezer, for ice cream and smoothies!

@rubric My ‘Ninja’ blender also came with a small food processor and additional blade. Perfect size for this, and you can just take out the blade and eat from the bowl! Also in the pic is the Magic Bullet. great for smoothies.

A food processor or a good blender would be better so you can use it for more than just the banana ice cream.

Yonanas machines are a bit of a pain to clean but I feel like they are worth it. They give me that very real ice cream feeling- I love mine!
