Not exactly a frozen quick meal. but my quick meal plan (does require a trip to the store): rotisserie chicken, bag of 90 second microwave rice, a bag of salad mix, a bag of frozen microwave steamable veggies (broccoli, sugar snap peas, etc) If you want it, add a package of rolls to your cart. For dessert: fresh fruit or a deli or frozen pie. You've got a feast and it takes hardly any time to get it on the table. Another option: tubs of ready to heat barbecue pork or chicken (at my grocery, near the deli meat) Put over a salad (we call it Pigs in the Garden) or over baked potatoes and garnish with grated cheese and sliced green onion. Breakfast for supper is usually a quick prep

What is your recipe for the fried rice ?
by (7.4k points)
@smithereens I just throw a bag of Birdseye cauliflower rice into the microwave & then fry it in a pan with whatever veggies mix i have lying around (sometimes without) i pour some soy sauce in & then scramble a couple of eggs & cook them off to the side of the pan until done & mix it all together.

Frozen shrimp, cauliflower rice, and broccoli. Makes a quick stir fry or eat individually. Frozen cilantro chicken wantons. I eat these 2 ways. One heat in microwave and put hughes teriyaki sauce on it. Second, put in a bowl w chicken broth and a little spinach, green onion, and a dash of soy sauce. Heat in microwave for a quick soup.

Buy Smart Ones, Healthy Choice or Lean Cuisine frozen entrees and add a nice-sized salad. That supported me until I figured things out.

There are some good low-point Healthy Choice meal options. I try to have 2 or 3 at home in case I can't decide what to eat. But watch the points. They vary quite a bit from one meal to another.

Just watch the sodium! It will show up the next day in a weight gain, so drink lots of water!

I prefer fresh veggies for this but I have used frozen. chicken breast on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil, pinch up a border between the chicken and the veggies (fresh or frozen) add whatever seasoning you like, I use garlic powder and pepper mostly, bake in The oven at 350 until the chicken is done and veggies are tender. cover the veggies with aluminum foil to get them tender then remove for the last few minutes. One pan easy cleanup. Use your favorite veggie combo.

I bought a couple of weight watcher meals for that very reason. But watch the points. I was surprised to see some of them were as much as 11 points which I thought was extremely high for weight watchers

This one ☝️ is my go to. I just add one more cup of vegetables.
