Question

This 'IS" a support group right? This group is (so l'm thinking) to encourage "everybody" to eat healthy, exercise, share your gains or losses. The key word is encourage. That's the reason I asked to be in this group. Why else would one ask to join this "incredible"group for? I've met some "kind, helpful, encouraging, motivated, positive" people within this group. Everyone of your post is helpful to me and l'm very appreciative for them. I said all that to say this, I've haven't ever (ever-ever) put a negative remark on anyone's post, I haven't ever called anyone a "Stupid B" (that's what this lady called me), I've never said that I didn't like something that someone posted. What would be the point? If your that petty, immature & silly then start your own group, but what you don't get to do is call "me" offensive names. I wish everyone the best on their journey and continue to do "your best" as we're all on the same team. Right?

I’m so sorry this happened. Someone posted recently that the unhealed take bad behavior from others personally but the healed person understands their bad behavior is on them and has nothing to do with you. I’m usually on the healthy side of the equation but find myself on the other side too. I hope you see this as their problem and feel sorry for the pain that made them act this way. This is not about you. You are strong and can do anything. Never forget that.

In every group that I have been in. there are many rude and disrespectful people. There is no reason for it. If you have nothing nice to say then you should just keep your mouth closed and move on. We should be encouraging each other. but unfortunately society and life in general has made a lot of people ugly. Thrive on and know that you are a better human being and we all in this group are only trying to better ourselves

I’ve heard this type of message waaay too many times in this group. You don’t deserve it and we don’t need it. Can’t people realize that we are going through a pandemic and hear enough negative stuff. God be with those that feel the need to spew negativity. Good luck on your journey. ☺️♥️

Gale, I"m not very tough skinned, but if you read 39 positive remarks, you just have to over look that one cranky one, who MAY be, what you mentioned earlier, or someone might be having a bad day.

I’m relatively new to the group and was noticing a post you made today. It was so uplifting that I went back to look at some of your previous posts. It’s ironic that I thought what a wonderful role model you are. I can’t imagine that someone could be unkind to you. Please don’t let it get to you. I think you’re lovely. Yes I've seen some bickering & very rude negative comments. Sad that it happens. We already have a lot to deal with - weight loss. We don't have to agree either. But for crying out loud - BE SUPPORTIVE
