Anyone else having a hard time with sweets? I used to have something sweet to eat at least twice a day(obviously that's why I have a problem) but I've been switching it out for fruits, which helps with that sugar craving without satisfaction. Damn I just need some cake and chocolate or something. I have a hard time eating just one slice of something. I know it's mind over matter and I have been trying different things, but what have you guys been doing about the cravings. This would be a little easier if I was working through most of the day. Any suggestions or recipes that I could eat more than 3 bites that would satisfy me? I'm on blue.

Sugar free chocolate cake mix and can of pumpkin! About 1/4 cup H2o! Add a few chocolate chips! Bake @350 for 20 min! I count as 2 points! They get very chocolatey if you store in refrigerator

I have the same problem. I cut toffee pops and Tim tams in half and put them in the freezer one of them is enough for me and that's only 40 calories! I do mini icepops too at 27cals so still getting my fix in and then if I do 7 days healthy I get a treat like a small piece of baking, it fits in with my super low calorie intake!
by (450 points)
@subvene what are toffee pops and Tim tams never heard of them. They might help me with this issue too
by (1.3k points)
@subvene Tim tams are the greatest Aussie treat I have ever had. I could literally eat an entire package in one sitting
by (710 points)
Toffee pops are biscuits with a caramel top covered in choc, maybe there might be a similar version in your supermarket?

Do you have a Trader Joe's? These coco meringues are 5 points on green for 3 of them. They are huge and I usually only have 1 or 2. They are really chocolaty

Try the angel food cups, SF strawberry glaze, strawberries and Low fat whipped cream. It’s amazing and satisfies my sugar craving and it’s only three pointd
by (450 points)
@madder90190 is there a recipe for the angel food cups?
by (1.5k points)
I buy mine at Walmart and they are 3 points. Even the SF ones are 3 so I get the regular one
by (110 points)

1 pt cheesecake! It is pretty big to begin with and you get 1/4 of it for one pt. Google that and you will find all kinds of recipes. I love it with warmed up blueberries!
by (5.3k points)
Also the kodiak cake muffins! 1 pt each.
by (1.6k points)
@veneration I wish this was available in Canada
by (5.3k points)
@nelson kodiak? Awww, have you tried Amazon?
by (1.6k points)
@veneration Kodak is. we can grab it at Costco. But the SF cheesecake mix isn’t available here. I can get it on Amazon for about $5-15 per package! That’s crazy! Gah
by (5.3k points)
@nelson wow! That is crazy! You need to make a friend in the US to smuggle it there for you! Can it be shipped through USPS?
by (1.6k points)
@veneration I’m not sure honestly. I just wish we had the same options. It’s boggling to me that there are so many extra options for Americans than we get in Canada. I’m told it’s because it costs more to have everything labelled in both French & English

Built bars actually satisfy my sweet tooth and it’s good protein/low points too
by (12.2k points)
@range915 yes, I agree with this but I didn't like a lot of the flavors. The only one I actually order regularly is Peanut Butter Brownie. That's four points per bar on blue.
by (5.3k points)
I thought I loved them but the texture gets to me. I now do the built bars for 4 or 5 pts depending on flavor and find them more enjoyable!

I have been using GButter. It is a “cookie butter” type product that you can use as a spread on fruit or rice cakes etc. But it also microwaves into a brownie/cake consistency. The lid is micromaveable, so you can put a serving in and zap it for 30 seconds for a warm 3 point high protein brownie. It is expensive, but I was eating a ridiculous amount of calories due to stress right now, and need that daily sugar fix. The cookie butter, oreo, brownie batter and birthday cake flavors are my faves. Cookie butter is like a warm chocolate chip cookie. They are an online company.

I also made truffles out of very dark chocolate cream and low fat butter the batch made 54 so worked out at 2 points per truffle if you have two it’s five sp

Russell Stover sells sugar free chocolates individually wrapped. They are the perfect size and usually just one does the job. They are usually found in the candy aisle. I’ve also started buying really high quality childcare sweetened with stevia. One or two squares does the trick. Try Lily’s.

All of the above plus I mix cool whip lite (frozen) with a tablespoon crunchy jif. When I want a good treat, I save my points. You can use the peanut butter powder for less points. Also, angel food cake baked with a can of pineapples. I think is like 3 points per piece. (Makes like 12 pieces). You can google it.

Built bars are a must! They are my favorite breakfast lunch and snack, especially with me being so stressed out. They have really saved me during quarantine. They are low carb, high protein. They keep me full longer. They are only 60-110 calories 2-4 ww points each. I eat them everyday to stay on track. They are honestly a game changer! I love them! ❤️ I haven’t had one I didn’t like. You can use my coupon for $10 off a first time order or 10% off of a sample box for $14. 95 if you want to

@lonely57100 @wheelwright772 H is it difficult to make?
by (2.7k points)
@refusal easy. I used a regular cake pan. I do believe someone posted here. you just need greek yogurt, eggs, splenda or stevia and nsa cheesecake pudding mix. recipe says you can also use vanilla . I googled the recipe. need to leave in fridge overnight. it's a great recipe.
