Today is my first day. I have been keto for 3 years. I’m not doing well with it now (I lost 35 pounds and have gained back 15), so I decided to try WW. It seems so strange to be to be able to eat sugary fruits freely. Anyone else transition from keto to WW successfully?
Today is my first day.

@larissa2185 I updated my comment up above. But he did keto last year for about 6 months. After I started ww he decided to make the switch and he says he won’t go back to keto!

@larissa2185 I like it so much better than keto. I missed my fruits and vegetables. Good luck to you!

@helbona I’m thinking about switching to keto , not good?

@epicardium5534 I knew that was a lifestyle I personally couldn't maintain for the long haul. I like fruits and vegetables and I felt the higher fat might not be so good for you in the long run. I lost weight but I had constant cravings and felt deprived. I have not felt that way on WW. I believe that what works for one may not work for another and if you think Keto would work for you I say give it a shot. But it is pretty much polar opposite of WW. Low to No carb and high fat. Where WW is low fat moderate carb. ‍♀️ Guess I made that clear as mud, huh?

Once you buy into “fruits are bad! ” That’s a hard one to break! I was keto for only about 3 months and lost 20 lbs. Of course I gained it back after I quit, but I can guarantee it wasn’t from eating fruit! I’ve been on WW for a while now and yes I do eat fruit, but I limit it. But! You can really make WW work for you and if not eating fruit is part of that, then don’t eat the fruit! I’ve found you can still do well if you use your points primarily for protein and fats like olive or coconut oil, or even cheese!
