When I get like this I eat unsweetened applesauce or an apple. Full disclosure: I eat a lot of apples and applesauce.

@sagerman42 I do too, then looked and they are a higher calorie fruit. I’m going to limit apples to one a day now. ‍♀️

@concave zero points, though.

@sagerman42 yes, but I think I’m eating too many zero point foods, the scale has been slow to move yet I’ve added 30 minutes exercise a day. Always under my points. This is my guess as to why. I was eating 2 large apples a day. Probably the equivalent of 3-4 mediums apples. About 400 calories of apples. ‍♀️ love them, but trying to keep to one.

@concave I once worked with a health nut marathon runner. He described to me that apples are negative calorie foods. When I research that topic I read that they burn more calories eating them than they give you. That is an interesting thought for sure.

@sagerman42 I’m the same way but it’s with blueberries !

@kellby4 thank you. I just think I’m eating too many. Other fruits, strawberries, watermelon, pineapple all have fewer calories.

There's no "rule" as to when you eat them LOL- I eat 2 or 3 a day sometimes whenever I feel like eating one. It's all about calorie deficit at the end of the day.

@departed should I be keeping track of calories? I only track points. does the WW app track calories too? Forgive me for being dumb lol
by (6.1k points)
@levey You are not dumb for asking questions! No you don't have to track anything except your points. WW has created the points for you and those points include all of your macros- they have done all the work for you! Those points have your calories, protein, fiber, etc.

I eat a built bar nearly every might at around 9:30 pm. Down -68. 4 pounds. I know it depends on the person but eating late does not interfere with my weight loss.

Food, hunger, and eating are not bad. There is no morality surrounding your desire to eat a food. Try reframing your thinking, ask yourself questions about the food and your hunger. Are you in fact hungry? Or are you bored? Will eating this item fulfill your hunger or is there a choice which is more satisfying? Do I have points available for this item or will eating this mean I dip into my weeklies?

@chemotaxis I think a lot of times it is boredom, hard habit to break ☹️. I’ve lost 15. 4 lbs in a month so I’m trying. this page has really helped
