by (5.1k points)
@poulenc93 how do you roast your cabbage in big corner piece or slices?
by (17k points)
@deckert I do it in slices like cabbage steaks or shred it and roast it with Tbsp of oil and garlic seasoning. 20 min each side about 350 deg. On steaks, I brush it on.

Roast Brussel sprouts
by (5.1k points)
@consolata10 Brussels intimidate me idk why how do you prepare them
by (2.8k points)
I buy fresh, about 1/2 pound for 2. Trim off a bit of the stem. Some of the leaves will drop off and I toss them. Cut in 1/2 top to bottom. I toss with about 1 T. olive oil or any oil salt and pepper to taste, and if you like garlic powder, 35-45 min. 400* oven, shake or stir every 7-10 min. Increase by 1/2 for every 2 people.

Roasted broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus or Brussel Sprouts. I heat the oven to 425*. I clean and cut my vegetable. I use a spray bottle to coat the vegetables with olive oil. Then I sprinkle a little Kosher salt on them. I pop them in the oven for about 20 minutes. I usually on do one type of vegetable at a time. But, they could be mixed. Zucchini is another option. But, I am not sure of the timing.

Ohhh I have cabbage too! How exactly do you make this?
by (5.1k points)
@rubric I chop my cabbage up place in a strainer rinse my cabbage very well and then I place in a pot. Then I dice my onion place in my pot. I take a beef bouillon and place it on top of cabbage and onion put a lid on it then put it on medium to low. Let it cook for about 20 to 30. It will cook down it's really good. I put vinegar on mine.
by (1.6k points)
@deckert thx! So you’re boiling it for 20-30 min then drain the water? Sorry I’ve never cooked cabbage before! I bought it for fish tacos haha
by (5.1k points)
@rubric no I don't add any water. I chop the cabbage up then I rinse the cabbage really well put it in the pot. If that doesn't sound comfortable only add very small amount of water it will steam it
by (1.6k points)
@deckert ohh ok thx

I use the shredded cabbage in a bag that’s sold for cole slaw. Great for soup or sautéed with onions as a side dish. Can also add ground turkey for a full meal.
