Can someone give me some guidance on how exercise works with the program? I know that I can connect a device to the app but I didn't see how to connect a Droid or a couch to 5K program. Are you a lot of extra points if you exercise? How do I figure that out? I did a 30 minute run today and burned about 220 calories.

You can’t connect apps like C25K but you can connect a fit bit, cellphone etc. depending on your activity and time it will figure out how many fit points you earn. Obviously the more fit points then the more calories you burned. You can also manually enter your activity but clicking on the activity tab in the app and entering in for example when I do yoga I manually add that since it’s not much movement so my Fitbit doesn’t really recognize it. I know some people eat their fit points along with their daily and weekly but I never do I personally think that defeats the purpose. Of trying to expend more calories than I taking but that’s just me and my personal perspective

You can connect fitness trackers, to gain what they call fit points. You can use fit points to supplement your dailies like your weekly points, or use them when you run out of weeklies. You can’t use both, one or the other. You can bank your fit points, but you cannot use them to increase your dailies. So no amount of exercise will increase your daily amount. You can use up to 4 weeklies a day, meaning going over your daily total by 4 points. You can also roll over up to 4 points from the previous day if you did not use them. There are no other ways of increasing your daily points. This is why some of the plans have zero point foods to keep you from feeling hungry. Being hungry, and being full are two different things. Use the zero point foods to keep you from feeling hungry.
