Newbie.  Hope this is ok to ask here, but is there an easier way to track exercise on the WW app?Newbie. Hope this is ok to ask here, but is there an easier way to track exercise on the WW app? I dont have a Fitbit or Apple watch yet (looking at both so would happily take recommendations also). I do about a 2 mile walk/jog, followed by an hour or so of weights, squats, sit ups, planks, suicides kinda stuff but I am just starting so I am not full out the entire hour. I need to catch my breath! I am not really sure how to track it properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Apple Watch is amazing! I have had a Samsung and liked it but nothing like the Apple!

@crosley9231 what series is yours, if you dont mind me asking? My son has a 5 and it does way more than I need so I was looking at maybe an older model‍♀️

@siu2298 I have a 5. I usually get an older series or a cheaper brand but I through caution to the wind this time. I wanted a water proof tracker because I swim and wanted the ability to track my time.

That sounds a bit snooty! I am not a speed swimmer by any means! Just a 50 something who loves the water but I do like to see progress.

@crosley9231 not snooty at all. just honest. Much appreciated.

@crosley9231 I have a Fitbit Charge 3 HR. It’s water resistant and is small. I love it

I love my Fitbit! You can link the Fitbit to the ww app and it will automatically upload your steps for the day. I haven’t found an easier way to track the rest. Maybe if you just track it by searching ‘strength training’

On my android phone there are two options at the top when I'm in the app. Food and Activity. If you tap on activity you can then search for your type and enter in how long you did it. That's what I do for myself.

I used to track my exercise on My Fitness Pal. I'm not sure if the WW app has a way to track it for you but if you track it thru MFP it transfers. At least until you can get a tracking watch. I have a Garmin. I love it. It was pretty inexpensive too, but works great.

I know some phones track your steps. which should be able to be linked to the WW app. as long as you take your phone with you
