Why do they have different color programs? Aren't the points enough?

Each plan has different point values and a list of zero point foods (being mindful of portion sizes). I love purple plan because I already was eating whole foods for the majority of my meals which is my longterm goal. This way I can easily shop and cook while losing weight without the hassle of counting everything all the time. I do get daily and weekly points which give me a small but nice window to add some variation. My body loses weight better when I stick to a plan focused on mostly whole foods .

Because different people's bodies and lifestyles and food interests require different needs. It's to make it more tailored to the individual

They let you choose what works best for you. Love the accountability of measuring and counting everything - try green! Hate measuring and want to be able to eat zero point foods more freely - try purple! Need something more in the middle - blue is for you!

I miss the old way. the first point system, more structured. writing it down, not all the online tracking which I don’t like. I lost 85 pounds and kept it off 5 years til I started taking care of my mom and my weight slowly crept back up
