I agree—I’m on Blue and stretch out my points plus depend on zero point item (don’t go overboard on these cause they still have calories).

I am diabetic but I have hypoglycemic episodes. I am on the purple plan. I get 16 base points with 300 zero point foods. I use my points for healthy fats, bread, cheese, and dessert. Only having 16 points cuts out the ability to over indulge in unhealthy snacks. I have 300 healthy delicious foods to choose from. I just have to remember that zero points does not mean zero calories, so I need to be mindful and practice portion control. When my sugar drops my go to is Utz's sour Dough Pretzel nuggets. 2 of them bring my sugar up for 1 point. I can actually have up to 5 of them for 1 point. But 2 is all I need to adjust my sugar.

@longboat2520 you'll get it. It will never be perfect, but you'll get close to it. I have a Dexcom CGM. It alarms when my sugar gets too high or too low which is very handy at night when I am sleeping. I wake up pop 2 pretzels and some water and back to sleep.
