I started at 173 lbs in December during a health scare . Nothing like that to wake you up. This morning I weighed in at 142. 5lb. I am 5’3”, 59y/o. I don’t eat breakfast, just not a breakfast person. I do eat almonds for protein and coffee, lunch almost always a salad. I love chicken and even more some kind of chicken soup with lots of veggies, so my crockpot gets a lot of use. I walk every day with my dog to get moving and help the arthritis stay at bay. Due to herniated disks no excessive exercise. No diet, fasting has ever worked for me but WW blue and tracking seems to be successful.

I started this journey April 2019. I’m down about 65 pounds. I love WW blue plan (I haven’t tried the others). And I definitely have upped my activity everyday as well, I drink lots of water, and truly I just try to limit snacking. If I’m hungry- I eat. And I enjoy my food!

I started WW on 2/16/3030 at 215. 6 and am now at 193. 6. I'm on the green plan. If you look at different members, many have success stories with a lot of pictures and their meal plans on Instagram.

I started my weight loss at 202. Following the program, staying connected & attending workshops 9 months later I achieved my goal of -54 lbs & 6 weeks after that Lifetime. Since then I have lost an additional 8 lbs and have maintained for a little over 3 1/2 years! I workout 4 times a week. Was predominantly weights but now with gym closed really upped the cardio. Ride my bike at least 5 times a week for 6 - 8 miles Staying connected, still attend meetings (zoom right now) I feel so much healthier. Have made some good friends too! I don't have photos, but I started 4/26/19 at 204, and I lost 40 pounds by 12/15/19. I have kept it all off since then, even through the pandemic. I'm 73, and 5'3". I'm very happy where I am, and won't lose more. When I'm "on" a program (blue, for me), I stick to it. I don't have cheat days, etc. That's the nice thing about WW. You can plan ahead and have those cupcakes once in awhile, pizza, etc. What helps the most, I think, is my husband eats the same thing I do. I don't have to prepare a separate meal for him (just two of us retired folks). And he's lost weight, too, which is a good thing! I realize I must do this forever; it's my new lifestyle, and I love it.

I started my journey and reached goal and Lifetime after losing 50. lbs. I started February 1993 (again but did not quit) and reached goal in January of 1994. 26 years later still at Lifetime. It's work everyday because WW is for life.

I started April 2016. I lost 68. I was still 20 away from goal. I faltered around for a year. I only lost 5#. I quit. I gained 30 back. I rejoined January 2020. I lost 8. 6 before the shutdown. Faltering again!

I lost 60 lbs in 2010. It was the first time I joined weight watchers. They had it at work. Became lifetime 8 months later and have maintained my weight ever since. Maintenance is just as much a challenge as losing.
by (17k points)
@rayerayfield wonderful. As soon as they open I hope to get lifetime. I have maintained since 4/3.
by (1.6k points)
@poulenc93 To get lifetime you have to have 5lbs to lose before goal and maintain for 6 weeks. ( Goal has to be in your BMI range) and join meetings . I looked into getting lifetime also since I reached my goal during this pandemic. I wish there was an easier way.
by (17k points)
@astro I don’t have 5 more to lose, so I won’t be losing anymore. I am in my range. So I guess I will have to wait and see when they open. I have lost more than enough already.

I joined at 214 lbs on dec 27, 2019. As of today I am 169. 3. 44. 7 lbs down. I am on green and do intermittent fasting 6 days a week. I am also doing beach body work outs 5 days a week as well as a daily walk.

@theravada3134 when u fast does that mean not food or water or just no food?
by (5.2k points)
I only eat between 11-7. You can drink water, tea and black coffee while you fast. I drink coffee in the morning and tea at night when I’m hungry.

(This pic is me 4 years ago and me today. 4 years ago I started it on my own and lost a lot of weight. But I needed more guidance and finally joined weight watchers 8 weeks ago to finish the job. ) I started WW on March 7th at 240lbs. As of today, the day before my 8 week weigh-in I am down 25lbs. My goal is 180lbs. I am now 215lbs. I follow the Blue plan. I eat right and I am still working. I put on about 6miles a day on my body just from work I am active in that regard. If I’m not working I walk. I am 54 years old. WW really works. You never feel like you can’t eat anything because you can eat everything. I love it. It’s simple, easy to manage and the app answers all questions. There is a ton of support and it’s just so easy. Trust me it’s a blessing.

I started March 2012 at 160 pounds and lost 30 pounds by Sept 2012, with just diet; in February 2013 I broke my wrist and soon after recovery I decided to join a powerlifting gym. I was there for 5 years, super intense workouts and I gained 10 pounds of muscle (lost tons of inches); I then left that gym (my body was overworked) and over the next 2 years I gained an additional 30 pounds; rejoined WW on March 11, 2020, at a weight of 170 and within 6 weeks I’m down to 159. Im a slow and steady loser, looking forward to being back to original weight in a few more months

I joined WW for about the fifth time in March 2019 weighing 266#. I had always had success each time I’d joined but never stuck it out long enough to reach goal. I was determined that this was going to be the last time I joined and I would reach goal. It is not always perfect but I continue to head in the right direction knowing tomorrow is always a new day. I think what has made this time different is that I eat everything I want to eat, just in moderation and I don’t beat myself up if I have a bad day. It’s not a race, it’s a lifestyle change. Due to Covid I haven’t weighed in since March but have hit my goal weight of 155# and am actually now 149#. A little disappointed to reach goal without being able to celebrate with my group but know we will celebrate later.

Hello! 10 years ago I was at my highest weight in my life (even being pregnant) at 235lbs. It took me the better part of 10 hard months of commitment and adapting a lifestyle change. I kept all of it off up until a year and a half ago (gained back 15lbs). Know what I had gone through and accomplished I got back on the WW band wagon Jan2nd, am proud to report I only have 5 lbs to get back down to my goal of 150lbs! I “cheat” every once in awhile because I’m human but the next day I’m back in the saddle!

I think I have tried every weight loss program around. I did WW many times and I think I paid for a building or two. I started at 232 lbs got down to goal, then I decided I could do it on my own. No, I gained back 40lbs went back to ww and lost that . I realized that this is a lifestyle and I will always have to track and watch my portion sizes. I have been lifetime for 3 years. I go to meetings and read connect. WW is the only company that supports me after goal

SW 219 GW 160-165 CW 158 Lowest 149 - which was too small for me. I tracked everything. I ate my daily and weekly points. I never denied myself anything. I ate it, I tracked it. I didn’t start exercising till I reached 165. I had been maintaining at 152-155 till this quarantine.

I started at 262 and the drs office said 275. I am currently at 205 and I got there by learning better, healthier ways to cook my food, better yummy foods to eat, and how much to eat instead of stuffing myself until I felt bloated.

I started this weight loss journey in February 2020. Before the shelter in place I had lost 9. 8 lbs. I'm still on plan but I have no scale to weigh myself. I have no idea if I've list anything but my summer Capri jeans are not as tight as last year!

Started 5/2019, and I lost 57 pounds. Going to weekly meetings and following the blue plan helped with loss. Struggling at the moment with all that is going on in the world, but determined to lose at least 30 more pounds. I am very happy that WW offers the Virtual meetings, , or I would be lost. Best to you!

@grandparent Turash what are virtual meetings, is there a fee?
by (3.7k points)
@essa1204 they are WW meetings on Zoom until we can go back to in-person meetings. They are accessible if you have the WW workshops option in your membership.

I started in September 2018, had lost almost 30 lbs prior, but was stuck. I am now 105 lbs less than my highest weight thanks to WW! My life has been transformed in so many ways! I’m off of my blood pressure and GER@pervious meds too. I counted everything I put in my mouth and stayed moving. I didn’t really exercise until after I’d lost most of the weight, but did stay active because I finally had the energy to. Something someone said has stuck with me. “If you want to get fit, you hit the gym. If you want to lose weight, you hit the kitchen. ” I have found this to be a very true statement.

I started WW again (4th time) on Nov 9, 2019 at 242. I lost my sister in April 2019 and she was only 58 and not sick. It took me a while after her death to get back to 'me'. We moved to FL from PA, and I was so alone. I thought I could meet like-minded people and get healthier. So, I began again before the holidays. Crazy, huh? Well, it is almost 6 months, and now I've been on furlough for 30 days (expected to last 60-90 days) and I am down 37lbs. Why? I don't want to leave my husband earlier than necessary because I haven't taken care of me and the things I can control. My sister's husband is so alone now. I just can't bear the thought. And honestly, I feel sexier when I'm at a healthier weight. How? Plan Track Refocus everyday Know your 'why' Accountability - meetings Activity The most important meal is the next meal Forgive yourself Try new things Multiple mini goals repeated each week. - drink 100+ oz water daily - walk 2X/ day - 6 blue dot days/week - 6 days/wk with 10k+ steps - strive for 90 activity points - drink only 1 day/week Be persistent -- not perfect! Know you are worth it!

Took me 10 months to go from 234lbs to my goal of 160. I am now at 155 close to 76 lbs lost. I learned better ways to eat the foods I like thru WW. We also walk our pup everyday for exercise.

Started Sept 2019 after finding out I need a new knee and wouldn't qualify for surgery due to my weight. Down 95+, my knees still hurt, but not like before, don't need my cane and probably won't need the surgery. Would still love to lose 25 pounds, but quite happy where I am now. Good luck to you on your journey!

I started September 2019 and have lost 30 pounds. I did it on the blue plan because I love beans, eggs and Greek yogurt! I have tracked most days but not done ww perfectly. I always use my weeklies and earn 40-60 fit points. Some days I eat more but never a cheat day because on the blue plan all the aforementioned food keeps me satisfied. I have 40 more to goal and I know I will get there. Sw - 240 cw- 210 gw- 170
