Hello Fresh is awesome, but you need to like cooking.

@bash3 I don't like cooking but it was still fun because all the ingredients are already there.

Yes, they are very good, lots of choices. I do agree about the prep, you sometimes need two people to make it! Their five minute prep time is not accurate ! Add on at least 15 minutes

I like EveryPlate. I love cooking, and I love getting new ideas from the recipes they send. I omit a lot of the oil and butter , and add in extra veggies from a vegetable share box I get weekly from a local grower. I usually do the box for 4-5 weeks, then put it on hold for a while. During COVID it’s helped not need groceries as much.

I’ve been alternating between Dinnerly and Home Chef for three meals per week for two people. I think they’re both pretty good and not too expensive. Dinnerly is cheaper but they charge to deliver. Home Chef is more expensive but doesn’t charge for delivery if you buy a certain number of meals per week. Both have special prices to try them for 2 weeks. And both are easy to cancel.

Blue apron had a few weight watcher meals where they calculate them for you.

I have used both Hello Fresh and Blue Apron. I prefer Blue Apron. Their food always fresh and the recipes more interesting. Also, they offer recipes created for WW.

I use home chef. Lots of options and I find they use larger veggie portions to help you fill up. Also you can usually swap the protein so if you would rather have ground turkey over ground beef, you can.

Blue Apron. If the meals are too many calories, I split it and have a lunch out of it. Enjoy the variety of Blue apron. Very tasty

My vegetables from Home Chef were usually not fresh, were bruised, and sometimes unusable.

I’ve used HelloFresh. Those meals were very good but high in points. Blue Apron was easier on points but it took too much in prep time!

@binate10 I cut back the amount of oil used in the HelloFresh boxes. Made them a little more point friendly.

We have used Hello Fresh for 4+ years. We get 3 meals per week. I joined WW two years ago & lost 30 lbs. and have kept it off for a year. I substitute where necessary as I always have lite sour cream, lite cheese, lite mayo, Ole wraps, etc on-hand. I use a smaller plate & eat less than my hubby. It absolutely can work. We love Hello Fresh.

Blue Apron has WW meals which make it easier to plan. I have also used Hello Fresh. Both are good and I liked the food but the preparation takes me longer than the suggested time.
