Is anyone here vegetarian?  I struggle to find low point weight watcher meals that comply with vegetarian restrictions and also have high protein. Is anyone here vegetarian? I struggle to find low point weight watcher meals that comply with vegetarian restrictions and also have high protein. I eat eggs and dairy, but I don’t wanna supplement my lack of meat with other animal products all the time. And I also don’t want to eat tofu all day every day. I find myself eating a lot of fruits and veggies, but then I get hungry later and end up exceeding my points filling up on junk food because I’m hungry.

I am a vegetarian all my life. To keep me full, I try to add some sort of beans or lentil to most of my meals. I make beans soup which will last for few days. Since I starred WW on March 4, I have lost 12 pounds. If you have any specific questions please PM me.

I've been a vegetarian for 30 yrs and lost my weight and kept it off with weight watchers! Beans and lentils are good sources of protein and fiber which will help you stay full. Almonds help me as well. Also, choosing the more filling fruits and veggies with the most fiber is a good way to stay full. I also like soups because they seem to work for me as well.

Black bean, corn salad. Add peppers (any colored bell, jalapeño, etc), onion, green onion, garlic, cilantro, lime juice and/or mild vinegar, cumin, chili powder, salt pepper. And I like a little honey or agave. Taste and adjust seasonings. ( sorry- I don’t really have a recipe) Add or delete whatever you like. Great in tortillas, alone, as a side. Gets better after a few hours. 0 sp’s, depending what else you add. Good to take to parties.

I am a vegetarian and trying the purple plan, it’s hard. I have gotten very creative with the zero point foods. I don’t think it is a realistic plan for me wanted to do it for a few months and see if it makes a difference

Hi. I don't eat meat, dairy or eggs. I do eat fish. I would suggest looking up vegan recipes for things like seitan, hemp seed recipes, lentil loaves, mushroom/black bean "burgers". Things like that are filling.

I LOVE legumes but they don't love me. I get very bloated. You don't have this problem?
by (5.3k points)
@judaica9474 your Body gets used to it. Eat a little tiny portion every day for a month and then your body adjusts .

@ferrocyanide94 Really, Gonna try it. I have an old book called The Moosewood Cookbook by ? Katz. I would love to be off red meat & eat mainly fish as most of my protein.

Ginger, my daughter does. Go slow on your digestive tract. Quinoa an peas have protein too. I eat lots of veggies broth with peas and veggies. It’s a quick fix when you are hungry.

@ferrocyanide94. Here's another really big item. I can't eat any thing in the grass family! That really stinks! Lol I have adjusted. I can eat corn meal/flour from the Senecas. It is from seed used 600 y ago. Must be the "modern grain".

How about a 0 point (on purple)loaded veggie chili with black beans, light and dark kidney beans, white beans, non gmo corn, tomatoes, onions mushrooms celery and lots of chunky diced tomatoes or sauce. Throw in a crockpot with chili powder -a little garlic and oregano and a dash of cumin or cayenne if you like spicy. I am, Greek yogurt has TONS of protein. I also eat tempeh, lentils, chickpeas, etc. I just noticed today in the WW app there’s a recipe for chickpea tikki masala that sounds good.

I am going to try that recipe too. It caught my eye.

Hi Carlolyn. I have some meals that I use - feel free to message me. I agree vegetarian or vegan can be super difficult when the plans aren’t made specifically for this
