I'm wondering if I can cook rhubarb using Splenda instead of sugar? Has anyone used Splenda as a substitute in this way?

I've done this with cranberries. Found I needed less splenda (I actually used Truvia) and I added it after I boiled the berries.

I have been subbing sugar with Splenda for a couple of years now and I see no difference in taste.
