I try to limit but I know I would fail if I deny myself sugar.

Yes. I am pre-diabetic so I try to avoid sugar and try to watch carbs.

@drosophila5 what do you have for breakfast? That's my most difficult meal.
by (4.9k points)
Breakfast is easiest for me! I usually have a premier protein with a double shot black Starbucks coffee in the can. Or eggs and center cut bacon sometimes I add avocado. I have also done the Thomas light English muffin w an egg and Canadian bacon. I do have about 100 g of carbs per day but I don't eat sugar or I feel terrible.

Yes, for the most part, I try to only eat it if it is found naturally in foods, I. e. fruits and veggies. Works most days.

@pub73 it is very hard for me. Some days I do good until right before bed and I feel like I just have to eat something sweet. It is an addiction for me. ☹️

Sugar is my drug. I can’t have just one serving of anything with artificial sugar, so I stay away from it completely. Fruits are my new sweets.

I'm a sugar addict. I admit it. I like Fiber One Brownies. Microwaved for 20 seconds. 2 pts. Hits the spot.

Yes best decision I ever made . Lost 27 pounds over the last 2 years because I gave up all sugar and highly processed foods . It kills your appetite too because your insulin response is better .

No I learned that the second I tell myself I can’t have something, I want it more. Then I sabotage myself. Instead I’ve learned moderation.

I was losing very little each week or nothing at all. I was very frustrated. I started limiting carbs, which means eating very little sugar. I have been doing this for three weeks and have lost almost 9lbs.

So hard for me to NOT have sugar. I try to eat fruit instead but I crave sugar always.
