LOVE ! Scroll to the bottom of the home page in your app to find your list of 0 point foods. That’s a great starting point. Scan other foods with the scanner at the top right of your home page. The app is very user friendly. Just ask if you have further questions after familiarizing yourself with those two things. Drink water. Track anything with points (some people track everything)! You can earn FitPoints for moving. Weekly Points are there for whatever you need them for to help keep you “on track. ”

Each program has a list of zero point foods. Purple has the most zero point foods and the least number of points.

Different colors count food differently. Some plans have more foods that are zero points and give you less points to use on other things. I am on green which is the strictest. It has the most points though. I am not 100%, but I believe purple has the most zero point foods and the fewest other points. It allows you to eat from a list of foods without measuring and worrying so much about portion sizes. You need to be able to listen to your hunger signals though and eat to fullness and not overeat.

Go to the WW site online. Tap ir click myWW and then tap on Starter Guide. It has information on each color option and meal ideas. Explore the WW site. Lots of good info. You can print out the zero list for your option.

Thankyou ladies! I totally get the app and scanning along w the tracking . I guess I just didn’t understand how I personally got purple chosen for me. Like am I too picky eating -am I not active enough-too obese? Those things.

@thi27958 I personally think it has to do with the question about having more choices and tracking is not as important to you. I cant remember the exact question. Also age, sex, weight

You got purple cause you eat mostly free foods. I got green cause I like carbs.

Purple is geared to the ones that like and eat pasta bread rice etc. you just exchange everything with whole grain pasta and brown rice all zero points except the bread (the kind I get has 2 points for 2 pieces) I think purple is a good color to start with so it’s not so cold turkey feeling

I need to consider switching to purple. I lost 32 on blue, have gained back 10 and am not able to get this off. I need to do some homework and some comparing.
