I just signed back up today after 2 years! While I did pretty good for the first year after not tracking, I gained 20lbs back out of the 27 lbs I had originally lost ( probably gained 10lbs in the past 2 months ‍♀️) They put me in the green plan, but I immediately changed it to blue ( same as I did 2 years ago); any thoughts on the different plans? Thanks!

Same exact question. Gave me green. I don’t understand the difference and why. I know the points are different and the zero points are different as well. But why! lol

@parrish10 green tracks points in many foods blue has as zero. For example on blue chicken breast is Zero but has 2 pts on green. I ate too many zero pt foods on blue. zero points is not zero calories!

@parrish10 I think some people tend to overeat zero point foods so being on green keeps them more accountable since all the proteins have points on green.

@papa5 are you on green now? Do you like it? The blue worked for me a couple of years ago, so I didn’t want to go to green and be more “restricted “ I guess. ( I love my eggs and I think they have points on green as well)

@curtice73 Same here with eggs lol. My aunt is on blue and she has lost 35 the past three months. I don’t know if I should switch to blue or not. I’m started to understand a little from what you guys just said but Still a little confused.

@parrish10 I will stay on blue for now, it worked for me before; but if I start slipping, I will switch to green!

@curtice73 I do better on green because it is strict. If you have less than 20 to lose I think green is better

It’s hard to eat good all the time. I’m not a planner. Don’t know what I want most the time. It can be done. Many, Many have done it. Eating right is important all the time. But exercise is what you have to do. Why? We want healthy lives. I’m 74. Go for the gold.

@guddle yes ma’am! If I don’t plan, I tend to eat bad things! Plus, I have 4 boys at home ( including my husband ) I’m going to start walking around my neighborhood since gyms haven’t reopened over here yet! What plan are you on?
by (980 points)
@curtice73 fix salads. keep up walking. never give up. keep fighting to eat right. Find simple recipes. like for crock pot. WW has lots of recipes. It has a great app. To count pts. Has lots of recommendations to keep you going. I’m starting to grab fruit instead of sweets. Apples and strawberries are so good. Just don’t go overBoard with them. Don’t bring chocolate into the home. Take it to the Lord in Prayer. Sorry this was long . thank you for asking the question, “What are you going to about it”. Thanks so much.

@curtice73 oh, I’m on blue.

@guddle Prep your salads, we use romaine lettuce , instead of iceberg, and it stays fresh for days, I also use the English cucumbers,

I’ve tried them all out. Sometimes I switch it up just based on what the menu is for the week. Blue is middle ground. Purple is fun for it’s zero point carbs but I can easily overdo it if I’m not good at portion control. I also like green for the more points. Sometimes I’m sick of eggs and just want an 8 point bowl of cereal without blowing half my points

I am on green and I enjoy the structure it gives me and having the extra points to have a regular dinner with my husband every night, I lost 25 pounds on my own before starting WW and when we got put on lockdown I joined WW for the added help , I now have lost 10 more pounds since starting WW.

I really like the purple plan because it allows you 300 zero point foods plus wheat pasta and potatoes, that being said I only get 16 points a day but it is usually enough because of all of the 300 other things I can eat. :-)
by (520 points)
@pesach I love potatoes and pasta. I would abuse it

Green plan works well for members who may eat too many of the zero point foods or too large portions of the zero point foods. The blue plan is certainly easier to live with I found but the green plan was necessary for me when I get stuck on plateaus. Welcome back and best of luck. You know how to be successful and you will be. It's a great time to take care of ourselves.

Thank you everyone! I will stay on blue for now, because that’s what I know. If I feel like I need more structure, i will switch to green!

I was on blue but switched to green when I plateaued since it’s a little bit more “strict”. Probably will try purple once I can get back to goal

Im in same predicament im on green but wanna change to blue but don't know if i should because i have been on over week idk what to do either
by (520 points)
@hasa85 I think it depends if you have more or less self discipline. I think blue is in the middle, green might be too strict for me personally, and I think I would go overboard on purple ( too many zero point food)
by (7k points)
@curtice73 you think i should change to blue
by (520 points)
@hasa85 it’s totally up to you! Have you had any results on green after a week? If so, I would stick with it! For me, I believe it would be too restrictive ( I love my zero point egg and chicken breast lol, but I know not to “abuse” the zero point foods )
by (7k points)
@curtice73 no not really just been on over week and lost 2lbs so idk what to do which plan u on if u don't mind me asking would u like to be friends on fb
by (520 points)
@hasa85 we sure can! When I did the assessment, it put me on green, but I changed it to blue myself because it’s the closest plan to the one I did a few years ago and lost 27 lbs on it in 3 months! 2lbs a week is great!

@curtice73 i could of did better and plus I have problems with portions and points. Hows blue differ to green
