It’s just me. I finally decided I was sick of the way I felt and all the excuses! I started 1/21/20 and am down 26. 2 lbs! I’m amazed at my progress. I’m no spring chicken at 61! I tried WW numerous times with not that great of results. Obviously something was different this time. I was really determined and prayed a lot that this time would be different and it is! ❤️ I hope you’re doing well on your journey!
by (3.1k points)
@clevie yes! I pray this time too for me will be joining and hoping to not quit half way through again‍♀️what program are you following? Nice they have choices now too! Been with WW years ago Congrats good weight loss
by (2.4k points)
@beekeeper131 Thank you! I’m on the Blue Plan! Good Luck to you! Just do the plan! Obviously if you do, it works! I was pretty sloppy at my previous attempts! I’m so happy with what’s happening to me now. I wish you all the best!
by (3.1k points)
@clevie where you just doing online toothanks
by (2.4k points)
@beekeeper131 I started at workshops but obviously that stopped in March. I haven’t done the virtual workshops at all and am thinking about just doing online even after they open back up. One amazing tip I did get at one of the workshops was to drink more water. I thought I was drinking enough but I bought a cute purple container (my favorite color! ) on Amazon and now I know exactly what I’m drinking. I try to empty that 64 oz jug twice a day. It really has made a difference, believe it or not!
by (2k points)
@clevie you really are amazing. Wish I could get into that mind frame. We have some simularities!
by (3.1k points)
@clevie I am really good at drinking at least a gallon a day always have been sometimes I feel I over drink ‍♀️‍♀️❤️They say the best indicator is to drink half Our body weight in ounces . so a 200lb person drink min 100oz
by (2.4k points)
@stiegler In all honesty I’ve just committed to myself that I’m going to try. I was so very sloppy at my previous attempts. I’m just tracking every day, (the WW app is amazing and so helpful) started to get some exercise (I do Leslie Sansone videos. they work for me at my age! ) and I feel like I’ve found a good combination for me. I’m sure my praying did some good too! I wish you so much luck in your journey! ❤️
by (2k points)
@clevie thank you. I guess I need to pray more too. I know I can do this, because I have done it before. Seems like I get in a "mood" and then I go 100%. Thanks for sharing. We can keep in touch.
by (2.4k points)
@stiegler I’m in no means perfect but I’m just really trying this time! You can do this if I can! Just follow the program! I’ve noticed it kind of just builds on itself. you follow the program and move more and then you realize it’s working then you want to just keep going. we can for sure help each other out!  I’ve tried hundreds of times. I don’t really understand why this time it’s all working! But I’m happy it is! You got this girl!

Mini goals. Back in February I set a mini goal for a holiday each month. Most of the goals are a loss of 5-10 lbs. So far I’m ahead of my goals. Depending on how my WI goes on Sunday, I’ll hit my June goal this week (4 weeks ahead of schedule). I also record NSVs on the chart as well. Really helps remind me how far I’ve come.

I worked too hard to lose 64lbs and go from a size 20 to a 10. I wasn’t a size 10 in grade school!  I weigh myself every day, have to stay accountable. I’ve gotten use to eating healthy and taking care of myself. I’ve never felt better! All I can say is WW works if you work it! Oh I’m 74 and loving it!

What keeps me on track is that i have done this my 3rd time now because i didn't do very good before my 1st and 2nd so i need to do my 3rd now because I am 36 and weigh 350+ and really need to get down i know it will take time but i need to look at it as a lifestyle change not a diet and we need to take it one day at a time doesn't have to be at fast pace because you can mess up and that wouldnt be so good. Im doing this again to feel better and be healthy and also to make my parents proud because i have lost both of them very young so that's another reason why I ended up with being so overweight plus my biggest weakness is chips soda and ice cream cakes cookies plus the recent job i had i was surrounded by lots of foods and sweets so that also made me gain weight so now with this pandemic im laid off and trying my hardest to eat better and like i said rejoined weight watchers online. So just to need to take it slowly not fast. I have had overweight issues since junior high so its been a struggle but now i feel that im a food addict which is better but hopefully this 3rd time with weight watchers i can turn my life around and feel better for me and no one else. Im 36 i have a long life ahead hopefully if i do better things for myself.
by (3.1k points)
@hasa85 44 years old. Currently on the blue plan. I was able to lose weight before weight watchers years ago than put it back on. I weigh now 238. I was struggling and struggling.

by (11.4k points)
@hasa85 I try not to think of the whole amount I need to lose- I just focus on my day every single day- get through without overeating or bingeing. And from day to day I get through my week- some weeks I lose half a pound, some weeks I lose 3

What keeps me on track? Originally it was to look good. Now I realize I stay on track because I Am Worth It! I feel healthier. My last physical I earned an ‘excellent’ from my Dr. And I’m here to tell you that is hard to come by with him. I realize my triggers (can’t have peanut butter in the house), I stay connected with WW, now with zoom meetings. I know I need the connection. The support. -62 lbs. maintained 3 1/2 years now. All because of WW and knowing I am worth it!

You have to get ready mentally and stay with it. Last year due to illness had to give up almost everything, lost 15 pounds. Now eating everything. I need to get back in my head my eating is bad for my health and clothes size.

For me it’s now acknowledging that is not a diet. Mentally I’ve struggled with that concept. It’s a very healthy way of eating which will be sustainable x. I just feel so much better about myself. On  and lost 2 and half stone - so far. Just loving it. There is no way I’m going back x
