Question

Has anyone heard any word on when the “in person” meetings will open back up? I’m dying over here y’all .

I’m on the other side of this - I don’t want to go back to a meeting until it’s actually safe to do so - and I don’t think it is yet. So I hope they continue with at least some Zoom meetings so I can continue with those for a while yet.

@methylal53000 understandable, I’m a medical assistant so I was never in quarantine. Masks are extremely important. It’s doable for the ones that actually need the in person meetings.

@methylal53000 according to our leader, she said they will continue virtual meetings even after everything opens up again. It was going to happen in November 2020 even before the pandemic. The actual studios will open back slowly based on number of people that usually attend meetings. They will keep to low numbers. Larger studios may eventually first go to weigh in, shop for goods and leave and continue virtual meetings until it’s safe again.

My sister in law reached goal last week and had to call customer service to get things in order. They told her 6/1 things will start depending on the area

They said soon but not that thousands WW leaders have been fired things are going to be different was told only a quart er of the people will be allowed into the studios when and if they start to open New York has no set date and now this hardly any lead is thousands were laid off so who knows and they keep in virtual for people that don't want to go back to the meetings because to tell you the truth with only allowing a quarter people into the meanings you're going to get a lot of people that aren't going to want to go because you can't even get into them

My studio meeting is typically huge. A packed room. The coach is terrific and very popular. It seems like they would need to limit the group to about a third of what it usually is. So can they get coach @little855 B to do additional meetings to accommodate everyone? Stay virtual for some? We’ll see, but for me I desperately need the studio meetings. Yesterday they had weigh ins at the studio.

I live in a rural area where we have a small group. We have a wonderful leader and the members feel like family. If they don't let us back to in person meetings, I'm done with WW.

@ashurbanipal I agree with you completely. I have continued to pay for my membership through this season. But I enjoy and need the in person meetings and will cancel my membership if they totally stop the in person meetings. I have the tools and knowledge to follow the program without the meetings but I don't want to have to continue doing it that way.

I just cancelled for the time being. I figure when this is over they will have great deals to handle all of us that didn't do will during the pandemic. It's all online now so switch out of meetings and save money

I switched to digital membership. Only 13. 00 a month. There aren’t going to be any meetings where I live for a long time. Did not care for virtual meetings.

I miss the workshops and the accountability of weigh in in front of someone! Virtual is so so for me and nothing I want long-term at all! But I believe in WW and it works well for me.

Same. I stopped attending zoom meetings after 2 times. just not for me. need the accountability and that is missing from virtual.

@leath58270 at the beginning my regular coach was not doing zoom. I tried a few other coaches at random and did not find it satisfying at all. About a month in WW notified me that my regular coach was starting up (I had inquired about her). It’s much better with her, and familiar faces from my group, but I need need need to get back into the studio.

Have you tried the online meetings? Sunday morning in Baldwin there are 2 great meetings. They are done for the day, , you will have to wait until next week, but we all have fun.

Thanks but I will not let it stop me from success. Harder but doable none the less. My dear neighbor and I were doing this journey together. I am sad for her because she worked so hard to get a 20lb pin now it's not happening. I am very disappointed in WW.

I actually like this better, I will change to online once I can make the switch , I get way more support and recipes here the meeting I just go weigh in no conversation from anyone so this is better for me
