I’m down 17 pounds and so happy. I started at 170, and I’m 56. My skin is starting to wrinkle and look yucky. Is anyone having success with toning? I need advice

CONGRATS! I’m also 56 years old and having a heck of a time losing - what plan are you on and what do you do for exercise?
by (1.2k points)
@wares7951 I’m doing green. I Zumba and do a pound class and walk. On the weekends right now I’m out in the yard gardening and that’s been helpful for exercise too. I’m so motivated and I love my results but really am self conscious of my upper body flab
by (2.2k points)
@wares7951 I do green. I did water aerobics before the quarantine. Now I walk and do arm exercises with hand weights.

@wares7951 I am 55. Totally understand, but Green has helped me. And it takes practice and do overs, some days better than others. When I really stick to it, it works. I am up for any tips and tricks people have

Two years ago I lost 45lbs, I wasn’t happy with my sagging skin. I gained it all back and I’d rather be thin! Im on blue and it’s slow and steady.

Dairy and lose the weight slowly so your skin has a chance to snap back. It's one of the reasons the program is designed for us to lose 0. 5-2lbs per week. Slow weightloss is healthy and helps the skin come back. Moisturize and avoid the sun, do skin toning exercises and eat dairy.

I'm 52 and noticed the same. My arms looks so wrinkly, I jane even start putting my Olay on arms and chest.

I’ve been told If your over 40 your skin had lost most of its natural ability to spring back. At 74 I’m sorry to say I wobble and wibble. I feel better weighting less. Maybe when I get to goal I’ll have surgery and have a reduction done.

Moisturize! Wrinkles come from dryness.

It’s still better for your health and internal organs and at my age that’s more important. I hate it though.

Believe it or not I started doing the AEIOU exercises for my face and it made my double chin slowly disappear. I'm also doing some 2 lb hand weights on the couch. They started firming up my arms. My legs look horrible but I have a bum knee and hip so I don't care. I also bought some liquid collagen on amazon for 9 dollars it's grape flavor 32 servings. I have a skin condition so I hope it will help that too
by (110 points)
@udell404 great to know! Thanks for the tip! Results showed up after how many weeks or months with the aeiou? How many ‘sets’  are you doing per day?
by (9.6k points)
@alan851 I do them for an hour in morning. Once a day. It's been two months I saw results
by (110 points)
@udell404 thank you! I’ll try that! Have a great day
