Coffee question: Today I mixed about 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder in with my coffee grounds in my French Press. It gave a little chocolate flavor and when I added some Vanilla flavor drops, it turned it into super yummy hot chocolate flavored coffee. Would you count the 1 point for the cocoa powder? I am not sure how much actually came through the filter.

I wouldn’t count it at all. I put skim milk in my coffee and never count it. The cocoa powder sounds like a great idea! I am going to try it, thanks!

@lilalilac it really was delicious. I added about a tablespoon of whole milk to my first cup and no milk to my second. Both were delicious!

Cocoa powder doesn’t have pts unless you put a lot in

I count 1 pt. / tablespoon. It’s good in yogurt too!

Depends on the type and/or brand but most types are 0 points for 1 tablespoon.

@congregational it was pure cocoa powder. No sugar at all.

My WW App says 1 T of unsweetened cocoa powder is zero. My question is what vanilla flavor drops? Do you mean vanilla extract?
