I'm a newbie.  I love buttered rye toast, but 5pts for butter is a lot.I'm a newbie. I love buttered rye toast, but 5pts for butter is a lot. What's a good low point substitute? I googled and got applesauce, etc which is ok for baking but not when you want buttered toast.

I found this on amazon, i love it , 0pt great on popcorn, toast, bagel, corn, veggies.

I agree that you can just use real butter but use less. 1 tsp if only 2 pts. As a lower point alternative spread, I like Land O’Lakes Light Butter Spread with Canola Oil

I don't like fake butter. I use Breakstone whipped butter on my toast, sparingly. I think it's 2 points for 1 tsp.

I really like whipped butter, I just use less. 1 tablespoon = 3 pts. I usually use about a teaspoon for a slice of toast.

I use a tsp of Whipped lightly salted Breakstone’s. I buy seeded Rye bread at the bakery at my Publix supermarket and have them slice it thin. I figure it’s 1 to 1-1/2 points a slice unless large.
