I'm trying it this week. I was stuck up and down around the same weight for a month. I never use all my points or touch my weeklies so I'm having a hard time eating all the points combined in the day for the plan. Im trying the best I can, Im at least eating all my daily points now so I think next week I'll try it again.
by (570 points)
@egestion8410 yeah I haven’t been eating my weeklies at all!

I'm just not a snacker so I'm having a hard time getting into my weeklies

@egestion8410 did u try swapping plans I was doing that one green moved to purple and down 5. 6 week one on purple so hoping down again tomorrow. So not sure if it fully worked yet lol but week one was great

@whimsy I never eat all my weeklies and not always all my daily’s
by (3.8k points)
@scup649 I was doing purple when I first started my plateau so I switched to green. I think that's why I don't eat all my points, I'm used to being really cautious about my points and eating mostly zero point foods so even on green they don't have a lot of points, so I'm eating plenty but not all my points

What is the wendie plan supposed to accomplish?
by (570 points)
@fated it’s supposed to help break a plateau
by (2.4k points)
@whimsy I did the calculator and it just looks like it gives you a lot more points.
by (570 points)
@fated it’s just divides your your weeklies and adds it into your dailies. Supposedly it’s a way to keep your body guessing so your not eating the exact same amount of points each day.

@whimsy gotcha.

I did, but only lost . 2 that week, some days it’s hard to eat all those points. Then the following week, I went back to my 23 points and increased my water by 32 more oz a day, and been having a steady loss every week since

What is it?
by (2.7k points)
@oleaster Basically, it’s supposed to shake up your metabolism a bit by giving you high point days and low point days to shake things up a bit. Same amount in the week, just high days and low days instead of the same every day.

@zhukov interesting. Life sorta works out that way. Thanks for explaining

Yup busted my over a month long plateau within 2 weeks of following the Wendie plan! I kind of still follow it. It was easy ! I drank wine and had some great “treat meals” on some of those “use some weeklies days” and the pounds have been falling off since.

What is the Wendie Plan on WW? Basically the Wendie Plan (or Wendy Plan) uses your extra Weight Watcher weekly points to get your metabolism going again. After spending a certain amount of time taking in the same amount of food every day, your body adjusts and lowers your metabolism so the weight loss stops and you hit the Weight Watchers plateau.

I did it a long time ago when we were supposed to eat the same number of points everyday. Worked like a charm.
by (2.2k points)
Weight Watchers didn’t endorse it back then, but when they changed the plan so that we could have “weeklies”, I felt that they were acknowledging that it worked.

I didn't do #wendiplan but did do #Sprengelstyle. But my plateau really broke when purple plan came out. Now plateaued again I am using my weeklies and equally dividing them to my days and I lost 0. 9 last week.
