Better down 4. 5 than up 4. 5 (or more! ) You're doing great!

@tabina I couldn’t agree more! Any loss is better than a gain!

The program is designed for us to lose 0. 5 to 2 pounds per week. You are right on target. Slow weightloss is healthy weightloss and it keeps your skin nice. A stick of butter is a quarter of a pound. You lost 18 sticks of butter! Look at 18 sticks of butter. You will no longer be disappointed. That came off of you! I could 1 stick of butter my way all the way to goal and be happy

Another way to look at it  THIS is equivalent to what you lost  a whole person

That fabulous! How long did it for you to put on the weight? It will not come off instantly. enjoy what you lost and keep going!

I am feeling frustrated too- I lost and then gained and I’ve been doing the same thing. All I can say is I gained 20 lbs slowly after quitting WW so stay with it- even if the lose is slow it’s better than gaining!

Yes! Do not give up! Normal weight loss is 1-2 lbs weekly. You’re doing great! We all get impatient and want to lose fast. Be patient with yourself and stay within your points. You will see that you’ll lose that in a week sometimes! You got this girl!

I don’t know if you took your measurements when you started. If you had take them again. If you are sticking to your plan (drinking enough water and sleeping well) what doesn’t show on the scale will comes off in inches. So on weeks that the scale doesn’t reflect loss take your measurements.

1 month - 4. 5 x 12 months=54 pounds. Sound better?

The 4. 5 lbs rate is very good because it is sustainable. Rapid weight loss often rebounds just as quickly if you don’t stay vigilant.

I’m about the same. I’m just going to keep going and see what happens

You are doing great. For me 2 months, 4 1/2 pds. Have good and bad days. Went thru Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year. I would loved to have lost more weight but its not a race its a lifestyle.

Remember the weight gain was slow over time as well, so slow weight loss is the best way to lose. Keep it up,

That's about the same as my loss. I'm down 19 lbs since mid September, about 4. 5 months. I survived Halloween, thanksgiving, 3 family Christmas dinners, new years eve and day, and a week on vacation. One week only lost . 2 lbs. But I'm never hungry and I'm enjoying the new lifestyle change. It doesn't feel like a diet. Hang in there, you're doing great!

It is a little slow going on WW but it is a life style change. You didn’t put it on overnight. Slow and steady keeps it off!

I’ve lost 17. 4# in 11 months, that’s slow but I spent 2 months in Europe on a cruise ship and came home gaining nothing. WW keeps me even, I’ll take any weight loss I can even a small one.

You could have gained 4. 5 lbs so actually you lost 9 lbs

You're losing at a good rate. Too much weight loss too fast makes it hard to keep off. WW's plan is 1-2 lbs. per week to have a weight loss you can maintain.
+53 votes
by (25.8k points)
At that rate it's well over 50 pounds per year. You are going to live those days, anyway, just do them the WW way. . . . If I had done before, what I'm doing now, I'd be where I want to be, but I didn't , so I'm not . . (yet)
