Hi everyone.  I have a Pro 2.Hi everyone. I have a Pro 2. It is plugged in but is continuing to drain. I have tried a new adapter and new cords. Plugged it into different outlets. Still not holding power. Is the camera defective or am I doing something wrong? I have one other Pro 2 which came with this one. Works great. My Ultras work well also. Recommendations?

Can you take a pic of the charger you're using? Particularly the input and output voltages label

Steve. here is a photo of the charger.

While that says it's QC compatible, I would definitely recommend you only use a genuine Arlo charger. This one might not be outputting quite enough volts in QC mode

I understand. Weird, though, that the other Pro 2 is charging with no issues.

Yeah, it might be like 0. 01V too low for that camera. Maybe try checking the charging port is clean but definitely try use the genuine Arlo charger

I had an issue with two of mine. One turned out to be a loose connection at the ARLO. I removed the cord and reconnected it to the ARLO. The other instance, I remove the battery, then reinstalled it, reconnected the the cord. I have not the issue again. I have 4 Pro 2s that have been on power for approx 2yr, because their locations, or they are in high traffic areas.

I use Wasserstein with my Pro 2's. Been using 4 months now with no problems.

If the camera does not power on without the battery installed then the power supply is bad or the camera is bad, but hard to tell. The camera will run from a normal 5V 2. 1A USB but will only change from a QC 9V supply. Or is it the other way around. Now I say it, I'm not so sure.

Follow up to my post a few days ago. I had to focus on other things so put it to the side. Then I had an 'aha' moment. Turns out it was a bad battery. Put another battery in the unit and it immediately started to work. Ordered another battery last night. I do appreciate the input everyone provided. Filing them away for the future.
